Chestnuts Kiosk — Restaurant in London

My wife went to buy a drink from this kiosk today, but returned very upset by the service she received. One of the workers had shouted at her 'No' when she requested a drink sleeve. My wife is disabled and is sensitive to loud noises, so she felt extremely upset by this interaction. No customer should be treated in this way.

I had hoped to resolve this issue when we returned to the kiosk, but instead we was treated as if we were in the wrong and the staff took no ownership for this mistake. She was not aggressive or threatening anyone, unlike suggested by the owner in another comment, nor made any children cry. I understand that the staff member may not have known what's in stock, but this shows a lack of communication between the team. I hope your staff can learn from this situation so it can be avoided...

It is so sunny day and friendly dog park area.

However, we bought three coffees and then we followed up by asking for a cup of coffee but a young girl receptionist was very rude - when we needed a coffee cup holder she responded immediately and relentlessly spoke loudly "No!" We were very shocked that this was the first time we had ever had service treat me in such a tone. We were very angry and said we had just asked for three cups and they all had sleeves and you didn't give them to me and then the backstage leader immediately defused the situation and asked her to bring us the sleeves. She was embarrassed and laughed with the other staff to avoid embarrassment.

Anyway, your stuff lacks training on how to treat customers with respect and equality even special...

I’ve visited here a few times when I’m off uni and each time I’m treated with so much kindness and attentiveness by the staff. I always look forward to visiting the kiosk, especially when I’m having a bad day because I know I’ll leave with a great salmon bagel, great friendly interaction & one of their sweet iced summer drinks!

I couldn’t recommend this place more as a student who’s looking for a break from studies. The food is not only affordable, it’s well made with fresh ingredients & crafted it by such a thoughtful crew. The young ladies always make my drinks perfectly, with the perfect syrup portion and the boss Charlie greets me every time I visit.
