Chopstick Chinese Restaurant &Take Away — Restaurant in London

Ive been ordering from chopsticks for about 3/4 years and always highly recommend them, last time I had ordered was in August. Ordered today for me and my husband and it wasn’t the same. Don’t know if they have a new chef or changed owners but I was disappointed with the quality as I’ve always considered them the best around here. The king prawn satay skewers were not on skewers but in a “ satay “ sauce with lots of onions. Sauce was watery and not nice. The chow mein noodles were very bland and not much flavour , the same with the special fried rice also very bland. They forgot the prawn balls but did deliver them quickly when I called them. All in all it wasn’t as enjoyable and I was disappointed and with the price increases I expected them to maintain the quality to be good at least. Very poor service!! I phoned up whilst me and my boyfriend was in Bluewater to check what time they closed (to eat in) and was told 10:30pm We rushed back to Hornchurch and got through the doors for 10pm only to be told by a pushy rude waiter that it's too late to order anything now. Surely if you are going to tell me a closing time you should stick to the closing time. If the kitchen closes at 10pm tell the customers that you close at 10pm not 10:30pm. I won't be returning and have been a loyal take out customer for the past five years, and anyway after seeing the inside of the restaurant i would recommend you only order take out anyway it...

Just ate from here 1st Time trying this take away restaurant .i got the ranydang chicken mayalsian dish the chicken looks Cooked from the outside but as soon as I bite into it the chicken exploded in my mouth . was raw as anything the sauce was superb. Shame about the chicken though . I also had Singapore fried rice which is suppossed to be spicy covered in powder this was like eating chicken fried rice no flavour just plain and simple chicken pork and rice . Sweet and sour chicken was something else amazing...
