Walking up to this restaurant, first impressions were that this was quite a glitzy place. Indeed the decor, with its rich blue & gold chairs (which are REALLY comfortable), many mirrors and high ceilings really make the place seem quite grand - definitely not claustrophobic. On being shown to the table, our party of 5 were warmly welcomed by the waitress. The tables are spaced well enough away from each other not to feel crammed in. We arrived about 6pm and there were another few tables already eating so not too busy at all. After an hour, more customers started to arrive and the place started filling up, although it didn't feel too packed. The food menu prices did look a little expensive, and the cocktails are £10 each. But the food itself was pleasant and the portions were generous. There were vegan options available too. Overall the place was a good experience, good quality food and friendly service. The one thing that really let the experience down, was that there were quite a few mistakes with the food and drinks orders. A little overlooking on the orders is, id say acceptable, but there were quite a few blunders, and I got the impression the kitchen and bar were quite stretched, which was a shame as for most of our meal there really wasn't many diners to warrant any sort of meltdown. To summarise, definitely go and check this restaurant out; the problems I encountered could easily be put down to a wobbly night for the place. The customer service is great, and they will give you a very warm welcome, coupled with tasty quality food 😊

We came in later in the day so it was understandable why they were in a rush to get us out by 11pm. They were rushing us to put an order through within two minutes of being seated Food came out at 10.50pm. We had to eat as fast as possible with two staff members staring us up and down making us feel utterly uncomfortable. My food (serma chicken beyti) came with chips unlike the description that says it’s served with rice. When i asked about it I was told very casually “oh yeah we’re out of rice” AFTER being served with no prior notice. i did not want cause an issue as my experience is already ruined so I did end up paying for something that doesn’t match the description. Server was so rude and lacked the ability to provide a proper customer service. As a hospitality expert and a manager I find that quite embarrassing from a restaurant with a great potential Very disappointing.

Honestly very beautiful place inside with great waiters. Went with my church and they were very accommodating. The food was amazing. It came on a interesting platter and there was enough of each item for people to share. All items grilled to perfect. I have been to same types of restaurants that would charge me 100+ pounds for platters, this was alot better than them. Thank you for much for the wonderful time. Only thing I can say is I wasn't keen on the rice but the bread 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾.

Quite upsetting writing this review as this was my favourite restaurant. I’ve been here for my birthday, my partners birthday, and many other times throughout this year. However tonight has completely changed my opinion. They were doing their yearly anniversary deal which was 50% off on ALL foods but had done false advertisement. It was extremely busy as expected and was sat by the manager, obviously we knew this as we’ve been here enough times to know. We waited over 30 minutes just for our cocktails, food was not the issue it came on time considering how busy it was but waiting that long for drinks was quite annoying considering there were tables sat after us and had drinks given straight away. Had asked for a tap water but had to ask again because of how busy it was which was fine, but it was the waitresses response which was very rude. She shrugged her shoulders and said very bluntly ‘we have no cups we are washing them up you will just have to wait’, perfectly aware of how busy it was but a nicer response would’ve been great, we didn’t even get the water in the end. When it come to the bill we noticed that it wasn’t infact 50% off on food as advertised, the manager said the starter is not included as well several other foods and someone should have told us this but he was the one who seated us? And when my partner tried to explain that the banner outside said 50% off ALL foods he then just said ‘here’s your bill.’ And walked away. Very sad to say that I won’t be returning as this was my go-to place for food. The false advertisement is not...

We’ve dined here before and had a great experience, which is why we returned. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t quite live up to our expectations.

We had a reservation for 5, but upon arrival, we had to wait about 5 minutes before being greeted. The staff couldn't locate our booking, but we were asked to wait while a table was cleaned — which we didn’t mind. However, during that time, one of the waitresses approached us rather abruptly and forcefully asked what we were doing, which felt unnecessarily rude.

Once seated, the service started off well. Bread, salad, sauces, and drinks were brought out quickly, and the food followed shortly after — it was delicious and well-prepared, as we remembered from our previous visit.

Unfortunately, the service became inconsistent. When I asked one waitress about our missing rice and requested some more sauce, she left and never returned. After 15 minutes, we managed to flag down a different waiter who promptly resolved the issue.

Towards the end of the meal, I asked for some tap water and was told they were “too busy,” which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I understand busy periods can be challenging, but this response felt quite rude.

The restaurant itself is lovely and the food was excellent, but the overall experience was disappointing this time. It was also difficult to leave the premises due to the crowd waiting at the entrance — perhaps there’s an issue with the booking system.

We hope this was just an off day, as we had hoped for the same great service we...
