These guys are thieves at the price they charge for food.

I used to be a loyal customer weekly sometimes twice a week but have since moved on to others, this place used to do half a chicken for £9 it then went to £12 at which point i was like wth and now its £14!!!!!! Thats right £14 for HALF a CHICKEN! Not leg of lamb!, not fillet steak! Not lobster But chicken!!! A full chicken costs £4 from tesco but at the bulk these guys buy probably around £1.50 a unit meaning half a chicken to them is around 75p so for putting some seasoning on it and grilling it on coal they mark up over 1000% profit??! Thats just crazy i like chicken but i aint paying diamond for the price of silver its silver! So many people who i know who used to go here have stopped going now because of this but then management clearly haven't worked out why yet that they are now empty at lunch times and why the bbq machine is full of chicken from earlier with no one to buy it, no loyalty to your long standing customers, nandos a big time global multi national chain charge less then £14 for a FULL chicken and these guys charge double lol thats hilarious! This is why caribean shops never last for more then a certain amount of time, the food can be great but the customer service an business management and decisions are poor and amateur, id much rather travel 2 minutes up the road to harlsden and buy just as good food and eat it knowing i wasnt robbed, to compare Sappos does a portion of jerk breast for £5.. Well Well Well. I am so impressed firstly I was told about it by a friend who said try it and tell me your opinion. I thought she was been bias cos she likes eating out. BUT she mentioned firstly how FRIENDLY the staff were then she mentioned the food. I was sceptical because I've noticed the majority of carribean/jamaican food place are aggressive and rude. I was going to turn around and I thought why not try based on her review. Trust me when I say this is by far the best service I have ever received from a Jamaican shop. I then went in my car and tasted the food. My goodness this is the real deal, everything was fresh, I lick off me finger clean. I've recommended to all my family and friends. I even had to tell of one for making me drive past this shop to go harlesden several times to get food that was not in this category 😆 Keep up the good work JERK CENTRE, with that attitude alone people will always come. My other friend agree it was the best jerk chicken him taste from a restaurant. He is a typical yard man who dont eat from nobody. I recently bought food from this place & NO MORE!! Very poor & thieving in-audible customer service from woman with glasses behind the counter on (Tues afternoon 02/5/17). No manners & bad attitude .... in definite need of sever customer service training including math lessons. She way overcharged & cannot add up correctly; initially she charged £16 but gave £3.70 change from a £20 note... (lol) yeh do the math! When asked how much did she say the food was she couldn't answer! Portions were very skimpy & definitely not worth the now inflated £16.30 charge. Furthermore, the Jerk had a peculiar unpleasant after taste & couldn't be eaten due to the raw/red near the bone. Mac cheese portion was extremely small & also had taste issues; however the jerk lamb was OK but barely half filled the smallest container it was provided in... again no value for money! How are "we" as a people ever gonna continually support Black Business, when we have examples like this and when they wont make the effort to get it right with their own people..... cha!
