During my recent visit to Taste of Peshawar in Wembley for lunch, I was eager to experience authentic Pakistani cuisine. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere, with its simple yet elegant decor, set the stage for a promising dining experience.

The menu offered a wide range of dishes, and I opted for the Chicken Karahi and a side of Naan. The Chicken Karahi was flavorful, with tender pieces of chicken cooked to perfection in a rich, aromatic tomato-based gravy. The blend of spices was well-balanced, providing a pleasant heat that didn’t overpower the dish. The Naan was freshly baked, soft on the inside, and slightly crispy on the outside, making it the perfect accompaniment to the Karahi.

I also tried the Seekh Kebabs, which were juicy and well-seasoned, with a hint of smokiness from the grill. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. The complementary mint chutney added a refreshing contrast to the savory dishes.

Service at Taste of Peshawar was friendly and attentive. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to provide recommendations. Despite the lunchtime rush, my food arrived promptly, and the staff ensured that my dining experience was enjoyable.

The only downside was the noise level, which was a bit high due to the restaurant being quite busy. However, this is a minor drawback compared to the overall positive experience.

In summary, Taste of Peshawar offers a delightful lunchtime experience with authentic and delicious Pakistani cuisine. Whether you’re a local or visiting Wembley, it's worth a visit for a taste of traditional flavors and warm...

We went to this restaurant last week and it was a Saturday evening and I was super excited as I saw some fantastic reviews from this particular restaurant.

The interior is nice, cosy and simple.  But that does not detract from the amazingly delicious food and the beautiful service that we received.

I have to say that the prices are extremely reasonable and the waiters are extremely professional, polite and helpful.

What I thought was amazingly commendable is that we ordered a mixed grill and in that came two kebabs. So I placed one in my husband's plate and I was going to have mine a bit later.  Within less than 5-minutes, the waiter came back with another kebab on a grill stick. He said that he did not like the look of the kebab and therefore was giving us another one (without charge).  My husband and I thought that was incredibly commendable especially because we had no intention to complain. The reason we would not have complained is because we know that grilled food generally does get a bit charcoaled and it 's quite normal to have some black spots on it.

They also did not charge us for the chips that we ordered for our little baby, although she also enjoyed some pilau rice with us.

I would definitely without hesitation give this restaurant 5 Stars and definitely plan to visit Taste of Peshawar very soon, although I think they should open up a branch in Luton to save me...

Please don’t visit this restaurant! All 5 stars comment are fake , probably written by them self . Our food was old and smelly we wasted £50 . My wife left a review and he replied that we left review to get the discount. Plz do check all the negative reviews he replied to each comments very rudely that u finished the food and now giving bad reviews. Now wat owner was expecting from the Coustomer’s to pay £50 or £70 and leave all food and go . We ate qabli pulao which was more like white rice , seekh kebabs were old and rock hard chapal kebab was uncooked and as my wife mentioned chicken karahi was without salt and no way it was peshawari karahi it was tomato sauce and smelly chicken was dumped in it . Spoons were so dirty , we asked for clean spoons .There was no soap in toilet and toilets were so dirty I wish I took pic to post .Dal was off as well as u can see in picture it is clearly seen rotten smelly food . As I can see from other customers review who paid £70 he is replying that u finished all food wat he expect to pay him and not even touch food ? Yes we left all the rotten food but we had white rice which is ur so called qabli pulao! Plz look at the 1 stars reviews they are all genuine ! I wasted my £50 and my kids came hungry they didn’t touch a single thing except coke.plz avoid this place and don’t waste...

This restaurant is an absolute gem and truly deserves more than 5 stars! I had the pleasure of trying their chapli beef kebabs and pilao, and I have to say, it was one of the best meals I've had in the UK, particularly in the Wembley area. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection. But it's not just the food that makes this place special; the owner's hospitality and humility really added to the overall experience. He made us feel like family and even shared some of his own personal stories. It's rare to find such genuine warmth and friendliness in a restaurant, and it really made the meal all the more memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious meal in a welcoming environment. The chapli beef kebabs and pilao are an absolute must-try, but honestly, everything on the menu looks amazing. Don't miss out on this hidden gem

At Taste of Peshawar, the dining experience surpassed all expectations. Nestled in a cozy ambiance, the delightful aroma of their signature tawa dish warmly welcomed us. From the very first bite, it was apparent that their culinary expertise was unmatched. The tawa dish, a perfect fusion of spices and flavors, not only satisfied our appetites but left us craving more. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service. The staff's warmth and attentiveness made us feel like esteemed guests. Their friendliness added an extra layer of enjoyment, elevating the entire dining affair and leaving an indelible mark on our evening. Additionally, the portion sizes were generous, allowing us to savor each mouthful and still have ample leftovers to take home. This delightful outing at Taste of Peshawar undeniably solidifies its reputation as a destination for exquisite cuisine and impeccable service.
