(+) Location near the under/overground public transport is big benefit. Approx. 10 mins by walk to Stonebridge Park statiton. Cca 30 mins to citycenter. Relatively spacious 2 bedrooms.
(-) When we arrived the rooms were very cold. The heater worked only first night.
We know that was mentioned about hall sharing but still keep in mind that because sometimes it is not plesant. Especially do not understand why kitchen and bathroom cannot be locked from outside.
You have dedicated private bathroom and kitchen but in reality any one from flat at 2nd floor can use it.
Big problem is noice. Not from outside, the area is quiet. But noice in the house. During our stay the flat above us at 2nd floor was occupied by family from HU. Probably it was not their fault but how the house is built. We heared all the steps, all conversetions, every cough and that there were, every fart (really!!!), every bed and chair moving etc. And if you added that you not match the time of going sleep or waking up....
Separate chapter is equipment condition and cleanness. There was instruction about how to leave flat same as you get it. No we are not able to leave dishes so dirty as was before, sorry! There was mentioned abou profesionall cleaning after/before each guest. Everywhere so much dust, teribble and moldy ceilling in bathroom. Cutlery and dishes was really terrible. Dish...
Read moreThe following were my observations: I think the seatee should be replaced. It’s old. It’s being supported with the edge of the bed. It is too long for available space. At least, the size should be the width of the bed or single seatee.
The shower area is too, too, small. It’s difficult to bend and wash properly.
There should have been another door leading to the toilet, rather than the door through the kitchen. A wall should separate the kitchen and toilet. The hanging cupboard is too low to the wash-hand basin. Let it be lifted up so as to be easy to use the wash hand basin.
Lodgers are of different nationals and may arrive from different countries. It could be one’s first visit. What is applicable in one country may not be applicable in another. There should be someone physically present to give a short orientation on arrival. Putting a few instructions and penalties on the email is not enough. Someone should easily be available to be reached at any anytime.
There should be instructions in case of an emergency. What can be do? This is very crucial and important, but lacking in the apartment.
The description of the studio apartment didn’t state on its website that the flat is shared with others. There are about five rooms in one building with one common entrance door. This should added to...
Read moreI’ve been booking with UrbiStay every time I come to London, and they’ve never let me down. This time I stayed at one of their 1-bed flats in Canary Wharf and it was honestly perfect. Super clean (like always), really nicely done up, and just a great space to relax in. Their team is also super easy to communicate with… messages are quick replied, the process is smooth, and the self check-in makes everything so convenient. No hassle, at all! Already booked my summer trip to London with them too… bringing a few friends this time and we’re staying at their 3-bed apartment, which I’ve stayed in before and absolutely loved it. That place is stunning.✨
Highly recommend UrbiStay, super reliable places to...
