Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

There is a lady who serves with others behind the counter. Frankly, she is a little funny, and NOT comedian funny. She wears glasses and her hair is slightly dyed a bleached white-blonde colour and tied up, I think one other general assistant wears glasses also, another female, but she is younger. But I know who I'm talking about. The lady I don't like, she could be in her late 30's, early-mid 40's and she has a non-english accent.

Ever since I have gone to this Costa Coffee in Catford a few times, the staff, their customer service is ok, NOT great. Also, I like to order a large hot chocolate with a little cream on top. I did this once and I saw how the customer service behind the counter, they were laughing-smirking in front of my face and as I turned away and looked back again.

That wasn't nice, it was cruel, and felt cruel. I don't know why they were acting this way, it's my decision what I like to drink, NOT theirs. But it's that 1 lady who I resent more than the other general assistants behind the counter. If there was a photo of her, I would upload it as to who I'm...

I came in for a coffee to start my morning—a simple comfort to begin the day. The coffee itself was good, no complaints there. However, the experience was unfortunately let down by the attitude of the staff.

The woman at the counter seemed visibly unhappy to be there. She avoided conversation, looked annoyed when I asked a question, and handled everything with a level of frustration that made the interaction uncomfortable. It honestly set a negative tone for the start of my day.

I understand that everyone has rough mornings, but in hospitality, a little kindness and professionalism go a long way. A smile, or at least a respectful demeanor, makes a big difference—especially when people come in hoping for a positive start to their day.

I hope this was just an off day, and that future visits will reflect more warmth and care in the service to match the quality...

I've been here before, but I don't remember coming on my own, I had some coursework to do, their new frappe menu caught my eye.

I ordered a caramel almond iced velvet drink (with coffee) from their new frappe menu, (as with anything you try for the 1st time, one runs the risk of not enjoying it) and while it was nice and cold, it wasn't what I thought it would be, I went up to order sometimes else and was asked if I didn't like the 1st drink, I said it was okay, but I got given the next drink free! Even though I'd gulped half the 1st drink already.

(2nd drink was the chocolate fudge brownie frappe with cream, no coffee) Excellent customer service that is rare to find elsewhere, if I could give 6 stars I would 😄😄 I'd definitely come back here in...
