An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Coco Cafe in London
I recently had a pleasure to meet with special friends for a reunion after 25 years, at Coco Cafe and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we stepped through the door, the staff made us feel welcome, ensuring that everyone in our group was well taken care of.
The service was outstanding. Despite the size of our group, the team handled everything with grace and efficiency, managing to give each guest personalized attention. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable day. The seamless service truly added to the overall experience and left a lasting impression on all of us.
As for the food – it was absolutely divine! Every dish was a masterpiece, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight. The bulgarian dishes were absolutely delicious. The mouthwatering banitsa was one of the best I have ever tried in my life.
The atmosphere at Coco Cafe further elevated our experience. The warm, elegant decor combined with a relaxed yet vibrant energy created the perfect setting for our celebration. It struck the perfect balance between chic and cozy, allowing for both lively conversation and intimate moments among friends.
Overall, Coco cafe exceeded all expectation and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience in London. The combination of impeccable service, mouthwatering food and a welcoming atmosphere made for an unforgettable day and I’m sure it will be a place we’ll return to again and again.
Thank you to the incredible team at Coco Cafe for making our reunion with...
Read moreThe deliveroo photos were extremely misleading.
First the english breakfast. Sausage was undercooked with barely any browning. Eggs were also undercooked. I usually like sunny side up eggs but these were nearly raw. Baked beans were the most basic tasting cheap baked beans ever. I wouldn't be surprised if it's tesco or asda branded baked beans. Very stingy with the amount of liquid too. Bacon was just regular cafe bacon. About what you'd expect but maybe a bit too oily. Hash browns were okay. Nothing to complain or get excited about. Toast was somehow very stale. Apart from that it's just basic white bread with some margarine. I do wish cafes would put some effort into using nice bread.
Overall it's clear this cafe has no real passion for the english breakfasts they make. It's extremely generic and bottom of the barrel.
Next is the chips and nuggets. This actually looked quite nice in the deliveroo photo. The chicken nuggets looked unique and possibly even homemade.
They wasn't. It didn't match the photo at all. Infact once again I think these were basic tesco or some supermarket branded chicken nuggets thrown in the deep fryer. The chips were the same chips you get from every single cafe, boring and generic.
Everything about this cafe is just terribly bland and I don't recommend it. If you go to highams park for a cafe then check out Highams Lounge or Station Cafe, miles...
Read moreI popped into Coco Cafe as I was too early for the Post Office opening at 9 but I had reservations as I was last here 10 years ago when I first moved to the area and the staff then were unfriendly and mono-syllabic. It was totally different today. The two lovely ladies serving - Joanna & Wiktoria - acknowledged me as soon as I entered, which is always a great sign, they were personable and friendly, smiley and were a pleasure to deal with. They even have no-dairy milk so I had my tea and hot soy milk outside. I was on my way back home when I went back to ask them if the had recently taken over because the whole vibe is not what it was 10 years ago and yes, Joanna took this cafe over 6 years ago, which explains it. So if like me you were put off previously and you haven't been back in the past 6 years, do pay them a visit as they have a totally different vibe,...
