Highland Fish Bar — Restaurant in London

Ordered chicken wings with chips with uber eats and when it arived there was bits of rice stuck to it, so not sure if it was taken out from another box? Then as i bit into the chicken that wasn't cooked properly, the rest of it was all the same, I called the shop and politly reported this to them in hope to get a replacement, but no they was totally rude they told me it was cooked and put phone down on me, I called them back and asked 4 manager he also argued it was cooked and he would not replace it so i then that i told him i would be making a complaint about there un- professional behavior, he then changed his attitude and said he will replace the food, this was such bad customer service and i will not ever go to this shop again, I have worked in catering and seen a lot of things, No i never ate the replacement as after there behavior i was worried in case something had been done to it..id rather waste...

My boyfriend and I have been ordering from here since we moved to the area nearly a year ago and usually the food has been good. However last night we ordered a portion of fish and chips for my boyfriend and one portion of chips for me (I'm vegetarian). My boyfriend said the fish tasted really off as well as being very overcooked. He wasn't able to eat it and it ended up in the bin along with most of our chips which also tasted off, and were tainted by a strong taste of fish which I assume means they were cooked in the same oil.

I'm not sure if staff have changed or if things were rushed because we ordered close to closing time but its really put us off ordering...

I’ve been using the Highland Fish Bar for many many years and have always been happy with the service and the food. Like all places you get the occasional problem but as a regular customer I’ve always found that if I complained it was dealt with fairly. I recently used the Fish Bar on a Friday night at about 7pm and Il always go in and order. Our food was freshly cooked and was delicious, a large Haddock, large Cod and Small chips.
