Cristina’s is a quaint, cosy steakhouse serving wholesome comfort food at its finest. It really is a hidden gem. Cristinas serves our original favourite burgers (we’ve been ordering for 6 years now… my day 1 followers will know). We were invited again and we were thrilled to return as it’s one of our favourite places!

Every dish is full of flavour combinations that compliment eachother very well. You really can’t go wrong if you order what we did. I hadn’t tried their Chicken Bao Buns before - they were scrumptious! An amalgation of flavours creating a delicious dish and buns were soft too. Their American Cheeseburger is easily one of our favourite burgers, it is faultless. I’ve lost count of how many times we have ordered this. It’s everything a burger should be - mouthwatering, juicy beef, The 24 hour smoked Brisket was delicious - the brisket was so soft and flavoursome, bbq sauce with slight kick to it.

The Rib-Eye steak was flavourful and succulent with a rich marbling of fat. It was cooked perfectly (I asked for Medium), there are also plenty of sauces to choose from. The mushroom sauce accompanied it so well. I’d highly recommend you try their steak.

The desserts were indulgent, I thought my favourite was Sticky Toffee Pudding until I tried the Eton Mess today. Absolutely loved it, which i was surprised by as I don’t like creamy desserts.

Amazing experience at Cristina’s steak on Saturday 29 April 2023. We came in around 3pm and we were very impressed! I’ve seen Cristina’s Steak all over TikTok and a lot of people have recommended this place to me. So I thought why not! Cristina’s Steak fully deserves the hype it is getting. Firstly, the customer service is absolutely fantastic.The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. They had a great conversation with us. The overall atmosphere of the Restaurant was very nice and there was a homely feel to the Restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. We ordered the cheeseburger spring rolls and Jerk BBQ wings for starters. The cheeseburger spring rolls were absolutely delicious! They were very flavoursome, tender and crispy. The wings were cooked to perfection, and were packed full of flavour. Now onto the real deal! We had the rib-eye steak, and that was the best steak I’ve had in a very long time. The steak was juicy, succulent, tender and packed full of flavour. It smelt great, and was presented very well. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. There was very little fat on the steak, and I really enjoyed the overall tenderness of the meat and the flavour. The meal was very filling but I wish it was like School so I could get seconds! Jokes aside, I had mash and gravy as the side with my steak. The mash was very creamy and sweet. Cristina’s Steak’s overall menu is amazing and there is a very good variety and a whole host of options. I am definitely going to be returning and would definitely like to try some of the mains, or even the Sunday roast which is highly recommended. There are absolutely no negatives about Cristina’s steak for me. If I’m being very picky, it was slightly expensive as it came up-to £99.11 for 2 people but having said that, steak is very expensive everywhere. The new lunch menu isn't great, I loved the old one where you could get a smashed cheeseburger and fries for £7/8. I ordered recently, had the chicken thigh burger, which there were several issues with unfortunately. The menu states that your meals will come with fries, they don't, everything comes with croquette potatoes/tater tots. Whatever you want to call them, they are not fries, and Christina's fries were one of the best things about the place before! Also, half of mine were cold and slightly stale after obviously being kept in the new warmers they have out front. Your new style of service is very strange, where the person is out front and all the food is pre-cooked and kept in pots. The fact I was there for nearly 40 mins and saw the server never change his gloves and touch multiple meats and containers was strange too, especially when he's also preparing vegetarian options alongside the meat. Unfortunately, my chicken was dry in places and although the flavours were good, it wasn't hot. The burger was also drowned in coleslaw, which although I like it, doesn't have to be heaped on the burger so much. Also, sorry but at £11 (£4 higher than the previous lunch deal) I think I would go elsewhere. I don't mind paying that much if I feel I am getting fresh, hot food and good value, but with food that isn't hot and isn't as described, I wouldn't pay that much. It's a shame, as Christina's has been somewhere I have enjoyed going to in the past.

Seen the reply below, sorry I should have been more explicit, the food was mostly terrible and mostly cold. Why would I "give it another go" when you couldn't even get the basics right, like ensuring food is hot? The server didn't change his gloves, but agree that he wasn't preparing the vegetarian dishes out front, so I was wrong about that. However, £11 isn't competitive at all, when I can literally go to Ripple road for a sit in Turkish grill...
