I have been trying to give this place some time and hold off with my review after my first visit.

Which I wasn't happy about..

The second visit.. Due to the waiters lack of customer service and attentiveness had I not been hungry I'd have walked out..However I decided to try something new - The vegan bun which was delicious. It had sausages, hash browns, spinach, smoked cheese and their homemade sauce. I enjoyed it and they won me over.

HOWEVER, today I went back excitedly to eat the bun again before I started work.. a few doors down (very convinient) The waitress made a mistake when taking my order however where the kitchen is right next to the til she was able to quickly explain and amend the mistake to the chef before he started to make the food.

After eating midway through what I thought was the bun it came to my attention that the contents tasted quite 'meaty' the two sausages I was expecting were not there and I belive they served me a Meat burger!!

I checked their website to see the contents and ingredients.. Before calling them and I did not read anything indicating that there was a burger in the bun. Starting to panick.. I decided to call the cafe for clarity The man who answered was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I asked him if he could tell me the contents of the vegan bun and he rudely told me to look on the website for the ingredients ... No customer service skills what so ever!! I then asked please could you tell me? He replied "just look on the website it's all there!" (which was not my question!! I wanted to check if I was eating a vegan burger or a meat burger.) which I didn't get a chanceto explain..he then put the phone down on me. I called back 3 more times with no answer.

To top this off I found a hair in my bun!!

I feel very upset with this service, I really wanted to like this place like the other reviews have. I hope that it doesn't happen again to another customer, as I will not return...

Ok. Lets start with 5-Stars and then dock or add stars as we review The place is cosy and though we couldn't find a 3 seater we ended up sitting on the communal table near the door Order placed and we were informed that it will be 20 mins. That was fine with us. Service was terse and without a smile - one star docked Once our drinks were over I went for a tea and croissant. After I paid I was asked if I needed milk with the tea to which I said yes and if I could get hot milk. Terse waitress said that I should be telling them right in the beginning as they charge for hot milk. All she has done was pour warm milk from the milk jar rather than cold milk from the milk box. Another star docked. We had requested replacing the bacon in the Bart's breakfast with sausage which was done. One star added. There were no condiments, ketchup or mustard sauce, on the table and with the response for hot milk we didn't feel like requesting for those. No star docked for this. Oh and the Almond croissant, supposedly award winning, was very ordinary. And the scrambled egg isnt really scrambled. No star docked for this too. On the whole its probably a...

Seating: 14 seats in the front with wood tables and chairs, a communal table, benches. And 5 round tables and sofas in the back room. They also have outdoor seatings. Charging Spots: Yes, especially in the room inside Bathroom: One for Unisex

Ambience: With blue chairs and decors on the table, it looks bright, simple, tidy and cheerful. And many locals and commuters come over due to the good location. Really like the room inside, a vibrant place to work or just read a book/ newspaper in peace.

Staff Friendliness: Very nice people and fast service.

Something Special About the Cafe: (1) They have a room inside specially for laptoppers; (2) Small portion of drinks and food for children are available.
