I recently had the pleasure of dining at Silvi Restaurant, and I must say it’s truly a hidden gem. This lovely spot brings the authentic flavors of Abruzzo right to Finchley, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic.

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by Pierpaolo, who was incredibly professional and attentive throughout our meal. His passion for the cuisine and commitment to providing excellent service were evident and made the experience even more special.

The food at Silvi is exceptional – each dish is crafted with care and authenticity. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are genuine, offering a true taste of Italy. Every bite took me straight to Abruzzo, where the roots of the restaurant’s cuisine are from.

Whether you're in the mood for classic Italian dishes or a taste of something new, Silvi offers something for everyone. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

We first came here just over a week ago to try it as our favourite Italian restaurant closed and we’ve been looking for a solid contender to get good, authentic Italian food.

The food was a hit for everyone, I tried the Spaghetti Vongole Verace and it was lovely. The service was so friendly and warm, with the staff happily accommodating a large group of us at the last minute.

We subsequently booked for a birthday the week later and I tried the squid pasta. It was delicious and authentic, and everyone else enjoyed their food too. It was perfect service, and one of us accidentally left our bag behind - the staff member came to chase us out into the cold to give it back!

The place has a lovely atmosphere, with dim lights and well thought out Italian decorations that draw your eye. The music is lively too.

The tiramisu for dessert was absolutely delicious too!

Highly recommend, particularly for big groups and those who love a proper...

Just wanted to recommend Silvi’s the new Italian in East Finchley (where Bufi used to be). My husband travels to Italy regularly for work and is taken to the most amazing restaurants however he has said the food at Silvi was easily as good! Being a foodie I was really impressed too - the pasta was clearly homemade and everything tasted fresh and was beautifully made and presented. I highly recommend the calamari and Pacherri pasta but all the dishes looked amazing! Oh and the house wines were top notch too… this really is a little gem...
