09/08/2019 Two days before the date above i left a google review for this store complaining about my order being wrong and staff giving out false information. i received a call on the morning of the date above and spoke to the manager called Mo he very kindly offered me a free Pizza which i happily accept. that very same evening i place an order over the phone my order was repeated to me twice and i was happy with it. But when my pizza arrived to my home their have gotten my toppings wrong yet again. I checked the label and what it was written was correct but the actual pizza was incorrect, whoever cooked my pizza did not read my order properly hence why their is an error. There should be no mushroom on the pineapple pizza, the image i attached to the review shows mushroom on the pineapple pizza. I called up the store to get this fix the Manager who i spoke to i can't not remember his name very well due to background noise from the store but i think he was called Friza, he was very rude to me over the phone i do not tolerate bad manners from anyone especially someone who is an manager. He told me that he will drive down to my home address himself and pick up the wrong pizza and also give me my money back. I responded by saying i accept my refund and was happy for the manager to collected the wrong pizza as i can not eat it due to my allergies but i do not accept his rude behaviour towards me. I waited for half an hour for someone to come collect the pizza but no one came. I called back to find what's happening and was told that no one in the store is aware of picking up any wrong pizza.
There is poor communication in this store.
7/08/2019 I been ordering from Gant's Hill Domino's for many years and i have had some good experience with food quality lately I had some bad experience with food quality and staff issues.
One of the main issues i have with my pizza is the the toppings are always wrong. When my pizza arrives i would always make sure the pizza is correct before eating. And it never is which leads me to wasting about 30-mins of my dinner time trying to deal with the matter with a member of staff over the phone. When trying to discus my issues the staff member are rude over the phone and don't believe what i am saying.
On the 24th May 2019 I order pizza and when it arrived it had the wrong topping. my husband called up Gant's Hill domino's to explain to them that the pizza you sent out had the wrong toppings and demanded a whole new order to be sent out. The lady over the phone was not having it she said she can only send out the pizza that is wrong. My husband was not happy with this and explain to her we are celebrating my wife birthday and we are eating as a family, it is not fair that half of the family are eating one pizza while the other half have to wait. it is not my fault you got the order wrong, and wile i am on the phone to you my correct pizza is getting cold so i would like a fresh hot pizza sent out. After 30 mins trying to resolve this issues the lady decided to send out a whole new order.
last month I order pizza again, and yet again the toppings were wrong, my sister in law called up dominion's their gave me option whether i want the pizza sent out or money back. she discuss whether she can claim the pizza next time she order they man over the phone agreed this is possible and put it on the system. my sister in law double checked that it is on the system.
week later we tried to claim the free pizza and was told we are not entitle to it as it's not on the system. demanded to speak to the manager was told that manage has left and i am the manage.
Gant's Hill Domion's has poor customer service skill and believes the manage need to re-trained them on giving out information. There is lack of communication within the store different information is given out without double checking. Instead of offering a resolution or attempting to rectify the situation, they questioned my loyalty as a customer and even encouraged me to file a complaint.
As a customer, I believe it is crucial to be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, the behavior exhibited by the staff at this Domino's Pizza fell short of these expectations. The lack of accountability and dismissive attitude towards my concern was disheartening and reflected a disregard for providing quality customer service.
Based on this disappointing experience, I find it challenging to recommend this particular Domino's Pizza location. Read moreI bought a veg supreme pizza and a portion of bbq chicken wing (7 pieces), from Gants Hill branch at 18:06 earlier today. When it came to having the pizza at home, we found all the 7 pieces are the less meaty section (wingette) of the wing.
There is the wing tip (also called the flapper), the middle part is the wingette (also called the flap), and then the meatiest part is called the drumette.
Usually when one buys chicken wings, we get a mixture of the two. I rang the branch and spoke to the manager (Ali), has listened and taken on board, my grievance and promises to share with the other staff to serve at least a 50 - 50 mix of the two sections.
Also, they've had a change of management. The pizza does not taste like I remember. Though I last ordered pizza from there many months ago, also not the same size and weight. So be aware. I think they've seen me coming and short changed me! For £16.98 I could've got a better tasting pizza from their rivals and have change in my pocket.
