Indian Aroma — Restaurant in London

29/9 - Indian Aroma is our go to restaurant the last few years. We are pretty much there every week !!! Last night we had a family group dinner with 24 if us attending and it couldn't have been better. Rohith handled the booking and was present throughout the meal. Krupal served us and as always very polite, professional and helpful. Everyone enjoy the food which was served piping hot. The quality of the dishes could it be faulted. If you like tasty and spicy food this is the place!! Dishes can be made less spicy on request and it's just good decent authentic food, we absolutely love it🥰 Thank you to Rohith and the team for taking such good care of us !!!

Walked in last night and found this little humble place was serving lovely authentic food. We were served by Rohit and Krupal who were really attentive, honest, warm and friendly. The staff were very knowledgeable and explained they had several chefs working to create dishes from different parts of India. Have to say this isn't a fancy place it's very simple, but the food was of a very good standard and certainly value for money. There was Indian music playing off a large monitor and we could see it is popular with home deliveries too. Good portions served, we tried the chilli paneer, samosa channa chat and prawns to start and then dhosa, chicken kadai curry for mains. Everything was served piping hot and tasted delicious. Will definitely be going back with family and friends!!! Honest authentic food as it says on the shop front :))) for those who like a bit of spice and kick in their food this would be a new haunt for you for sure ;) a special thanks to Rohit for treating us so well with his cheery disposition :)))))

Went again yesterday 7/5/22 and were greeted with the same service from Rohit and Krupal, we were a larger group this time and the food was thoroughly enjoyed, could not fault anything!!! Thank you again for a lovely meal and such...

I asked Indian Aroma to cater for my 30th birthday in Jan 2023 which was for 12 people. I liaised with the owner Sudhir who is a very polite and knowledgeable gentleman over WhatsApp to establish a menu including 3 starters, 4 mains, paratha, raita and rice. I was very happy with the communications and Sudhir made choosing a menu very easy once I let him know of dietary requirements. In total the order came to £360 ex VAT which could be paid by bank transfer after issuing an invoice; I felt this cost and procedure very reasonable. All the food was halal and a tasting menu was offered before the event which was very much appreciated. All my guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and I myself was very pleased with the quality and service. Food, plates and cutlery was delivered in 'hot packs' on time by Mitul, and he was happy to collect the pots and serving spoons the next day as some of my guests didn't arrive on time and therefore I said he didn't need to serve the food as we had previously agreed with Sudhir. The only criticisms I have are 1) it would have been nice to see the full menu and sides available because I probably would have ordered some far far and other snacky bits for my guests. 2) I asked for no whole chilies of any kind in any of the curries but dry red chilies did still make an appearance in the aubergine curry. 3) I think there could have been perhaps a few more parathas balance out the amount of curry which was ordered. 4) I was told I'd receive complimentary Gulab jamun, but this wasn't recieved unfortunately. However overall, the food was delicious and I would definitely order from Indian Aroma again because it was stress free to organise and extremely tasty! We ordered two family biryani for a family dine in evening. We heard from family members how lovely and tasty the food was so we thought lets try it out. We ordered via Uber and went for the family biryani. I called the restaurant to ask about how many people it would serve and staff gave me a figure but also described how hungry people are but would be enough for 2 adults and 2 children on average. We order a family Chicken biryani and 1 King prawn family biryani. We loved the concept of a family biryani instead of just ordering a number of biryani as we didn’t want to waste food. The value for money was better for us as a family. Would love to see other restaurant doing similar concept. Total came to £45.97 but this includes Uber fees, service charge and delivery. The food took around 1 hour to arrive and it was a big good shock. The portion size was enormous and came with curry and white mint sauce. Both family biryani were more than enough for our family. The food was well packed and came in a very strong bag. The food was hot, fresh and tasted delicious. The amount of chicken and prawn was great and very generous compared to other places we have had biryani’s from. This was by far the best biryani we had. There was not a single complaint from our family and adults and children x 4 loved the food and there was plenty left over for the next door. Again compliments to the chef and the restaurant for great food, at great value/price and cook to perfection. Look forward to ordering...
