Double Shot — Restaurant in London

I'm a regular here (I'm the Asian soy latte guy at 910am) but the last few times I've been here you have got my order of scone wrong and just given jam, but today was the last straw. I was made to wait long for my soy latte, but when it came out the girl said oh sorry it's very hot, and out a sleeve on. I asked specifically then if they had burnt the soy and they say no.

I was skeptical but I walked out to let the coffee cool a little. I knew it already but when I drunk it later, it was scolding hot with no coffee notes as a result.

I decided not to wait in the coffee shop to prove a point but also I know the manager was not there, but this is incredibly annoying. Either you own up to burning my coffee at that point, or you don't but given I'm a regular it's inexcusable to assume I would want a burnt over hot coffee when I've never...

I have been here a few times, it is a nice place where to spend breakfast time BUT they are very slow. Three people behind the desk to make coffees, let people pay, our coffee and cappuccino got cold before receive the food and once I got up to take it, I have been told “is coming”. People arrived after us has been served before , I seriously had time to finish my cappuccino before eat my slice of cake. They serve all the people at the desk before serve the people that are waiting at the table. I have notice this a few times but today has been really crazy, I could excuse it if there was one person behind the till but three people.. ah, and after waiting 10 mins to have our food, the gave us the wrong one. I came in with my daughter just after opening on Sunday 9th June. There was a short queue as you would expect at that time in the morning. I ordered two Mocha’s, both with Oat Milk and one decaf to take away. We waited approx 5 minutes which I was fine with as I noticed the barrister was making it with care. When they were ready, the cups were clearly labelled to avoid any mix ups and he verbally told me which one was the decaf. Considering I am a daily Mocha drinker and I am often disappointed when I buy them, I can honestly say that this was one of the best Mocha’s I have ever had. The temperature was perfect, it was mixed perfectly and the balance between chocolate and coffee was bang on. My daughter loved hers as well....
