This is to aim for Dunelm Pausa coffee shop. Just went there (2.45pm) with the intention of having afternoon tea for 1. Regrettably staff were unable to serve this as there were no scones (except a cheese one) left. When I suggested that having the only one left, they said: âcompany policy doesnât allowed us to serve the cheese except the fruit scone neither any other pastries etcâ Oh well⊠joy frustratedâŠ. However to top it up, when they give me the tea pot there was next to it (outside the pot) a tea bagâŠ, and I asked why they didnât put the bag inside the pot and then the boiler water inside the tea potâŠ. (As I believe this is the British way to make a good tea), the staff told me (again) that they were not allowed and (again) this is companies policyâŠ.    Read moreLove Dunelm. Great parking. So much 'stuff'! You literally can buy anything. But that can be a negative also. I find that it's all a little squashed in. Very disappointed in the complete lack of fabric now, only vinyl is available on the roll. You can choose curtains off the shelf or have them made to measure. But I can no longer go in and choose a piece of fabric? If I wanted to reupholster a chair in vinyl, though, I know where to go đ. Food not great. At least the cakes and scones are dry in my experience. Coffee and tea good. Stagg are polite and always busy. You could read a book waiting for the elevator though... so if you can do the...

At 12.30, a time that you imagine would be popular with customers, the cafe was closed i.e. they put barriers in front of the entrance and the staff were sat at a table presumably having a lunch or tea break. Surely the staff can work around the busy times and have their breaks before or after the lunch period... how on earth are they able to make this a profitable...
