Visited this Wonderful Restaurant for the 1st time After reading the very Good Reviews and was not Disappointed. My Husband and I were both Impressed with the Very Smart, Friendly Welcome and Excellent Service from All of the Staff including Mo who has been mentioned in previous reviews..plus the Immaculately, Clean ,Comfortable, Traditional and Modern Decor that really makes this Restaurant a Pleasure to be in. First Impressions really do count and the Eastern has definately nailed this !!! From the Poppodoms and Starters right through to the Dessert The Food was Absolutely Delicious ..both the Chicken and Lamb Dishes were Lovely ,Tender and melt in the mouth and the Sauces were so Tasty and well made with Great Consistency ..So Our Compliments were also made to the Chef. Had a wonderful meal here this evening at the Eastern Curry restaurant . As we try find authentic Indian taste’s and blast from the past, was it. It was my turn to pick the restaurant for My fiends and I. We had tandoori lamb chops to start, well spiced and good cuts of meat. The main dishes was plentiful and gave us a great sense of the quality of the food and diversity of their offerings. Great food. Great value. I'm a vegan and have found Indian menus limiting often sticking to the same thing. Here all of their vegetarian dishes are already vegan and they were even able to make me onion bahjis. I've not been able to have them for years. Would definately recommend this place to vegans and non vegans alike. I went with a group of 6 and we all agreed it was an excellent meal.I'll be going back...
