Elite Fish Bar — Restaurant in London

Was in London from the US and was looking for some good fish and chips. Saw the positive reviews of this place and tried it. Glad I did! My initial impression wasn’t promising, as the neighborhood and restaurant seemed kind of deserted, but I was here around Christmas so that may have been the reason. Anyway, I asked what the best fish was there and the cook said the haddock, so I ordered the haddock and chips. The cook pulled out a fish and got to work. Eventually I got a big plate of fish and chips. The fish was great, and the chips were even better, some of the best chips I had in London. The mushy peas were also good. And the price was very reasonable, I believe around 13 pounds. You need to walk a bit from the underground or bus to get here but if you’re looking for good fish and chips in London I would recommend it. Its 5.35pm Just ordered fish and chips and 2 battered sausages. Very disappointing. Fish was so over cooked it looked like it had been cooked this morning and lying about all day.
