My initial impression wasn’t promising, as the neighborhood and restaurant seemed kind of deserted, but I was here around Christmas so that may have been the reason. Anyway, I asked what the best fish was there and the cook said the haddock, so I ordered the haddock and chips. The cook pulled out a fish and got to work. Eventually I got a big plate of fish and chips. The fish was great, and the chips were even better, some of the best chips I had in London. The mushy peas were also good. And the price was very reasonable, I believe around 13 pounds.
