Wimpy — Restaurant in London

I saw the wimpy on Southwark Park Road after I moved to the area for work, it had just been refurbished and I thought I’d go in for lunch, since then I go in once a week! The food is always fresh, piping hot and amazing quality. The interior is modern but still feels homely and makes you feel comfortable. I recommend the Mega Burger! Such value for money and has you full for hours! The hot chocolates are to die for and really reminds you of Christmas. The staff are friendly and welcoming! Honestly you will not regret going in! If I could give them more starts I would! Thank you for your amazing food...

Utterly disappointed. Entered the restaurant and it's virtually empty. Pointed to the menu that I want the burger advertised (~£5 for a meal), he tells me sure, sit down and he'll bring it to me. At the check out he tells me it's £9.99 (double the price). I ask him why? He said that price was only for Wednesday's. I asked him how am I suppose to know, he points out small footnote on the menu. I had to pay nearly £5 extra for fries and a drink? - would have been nice had he mention that to me.

This is only the second Wimpy I've ever been to and the food was alright at best, the price versus the quality wasn't a great value with all things considered, on a plus note, the chips were nice though.
