This has easily become one of my favourite dining experiences! From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.
We started with the Chicken Lollies which were juicy and full of flavour. Easily one of my favourite starters here. I’ve had Chicken Lollies from other restaurants but nothing beats Everest. Then we had the Chicken Momo with Tomato Chutney, which are steamed Nepalese dumplings that absolutely hit the spot, and that combined with the chutney was perfect. Not too spicy but incredibly flavourful. Perfect for those who can’t handle too much spice but still want to enjoy authentic Nepalese flavours.
The absolute star of the night was the Lime Poleko Prawns, so good we ordered them twice. Perfectly fried with a spicy, zesty marinade. If you go, don’t miss these! Not usually a big fan of seafood but these prawns were unreal. Unique taste and nothing like anything I've ever tried before.
For mains, we shared the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan and the Chicken Chilli Masala. These were both rich and layered with deep, complex flavours. The naan was so soft and paired perfectly with both dishes.
To finish, we had Gulab Jamun with Ice Cream which is a personal favourite of mine. It’s warm, syrupy, and just the right amount of sweetness to round off the meal.
Overall, every single dish was cooked to perfection. The hospitality from staff was absolutely fantastic. Everything was made fresh with so much attention to detail and all the food arrived on time. The atmosphere was perfect for all occasions.
If you're looking for bold, authentic flavours, great atmosphere, and genuine Nepalese hospitality, this place delivers on every level. Already planning...
Read moreWe haven’t eaten here for a year because last time items where missing from the order and it took about 3 weeks to get a refund after several emails and phone calls.
This time we had: £6ish vegetable curry side: inedible- it had so much water in the sauce it was drawning in water. More like a soap than curry. £3 each 2 x nan: I’ve never had raw nans before. A new low. A strip of raw pastry in each nan. £16ish for the chicken rice thingy: strange off putting garnish on the top. Ignored that. I was just saying how tasty it was when I bit in to a bit of chicken that felt like biting into leather. A very strange sensation. The 2nd bite scenarios starting going through my head. Is this chicken still frozen? Has it been left on the side or in the fridge somewhere that the chicken has got a hard crust. Very odd. The sort of cooking that makes you gag.
Just chucked the rest in the bin.
The sort of cooking that you think about when you get in to bed at night and wonder what you’ve eaten.
Won’t order from there again.
Would love a refund but honestly after the hours spent trying to get our money back for missing items last time I just can’t be bothered.
Gross! Still thinking...
Read moreI just wanted to share how incredibly well taken care of I always feel here as a vegetarian. Krishna truly gets it, he remembers exactly how I like my food and always takes care of me and my guests with genuine warmth and a big smile. His attentiveness and kindness are consistent every time, and it’s clear he takes great pride in what he does. He’s truly worth his weight in gold!
The head chef always gets it perfectly right, the food is as good as homemade, which is why I return time and time again. I’ve had many takeaways over the years, and Krishna’s service always stands out. The consistency and care he brings to the experience say so much. The food arrives piping hot, and I’ve even served it to guests at home, everyone is always blown away not only by the flavour and freshness, but also by how perfectly hot it is on arrival. Truly delicious.
Recently I’ve also discovered the house red wine, smooth, delicious, and the perfect complement to the meal!
Krishna’s welcoming, thoughtful service truly stands out and keeps us coming back. I really appreciate the care and consistency he provides. Highly...
