Blackheath Common is a vast flat green space and the sight of many historic uprisings. MatTaylorâs Peasantâs revolt of 1381 springs to mind. Today thereâs little to remind us of the vibrant history of this green space. Often itâs the site of fun fairs and a great place from which to watch the London Marathon.
