After meeting one of my friends living near Highbury & Islington station, I was looking for a space nearby for my work. And I was attracted by a boy focusing on his laptop with his back to the glass window of a coffee shop named EZ & Moss. Ok, maybe a good place, why not try? It is a quiet small vegetarian coffee shop but still full of good vibes. Unfortunately, there are only two power points. However, another thing made my day is their toilet with a special sense of humor. They named the bathroom âinterview roomâ, which makes people confused the first time you come. And interior design is quite industrial, quirky and vintage. There is a label above the toiletââDo not use the toilet while the train is standing in the station.
As usual, I enclosed the review report for people needed.

Read moreI sat down for the joint's overpriced, so-and-so coffee to use the wifi on my laptop for a few minutes. Little did I know about its brilliant weekend-only, table-only, no-laptop policy. Are you confused? Let me explain: one is expected to disregard the sight of two people working on their laptops in the shop, because they represent a double exception: although it is a weekend and they should be discussing with each other (this is the law of the weekend), they are allowed to use their laptops, since, after all they are facing the wall, rather than having a decent table. You should read about all this, along with a nice selection of papyri that are kept next to the till, before you order an espresso. Otherwise, be prepared to choose to leave, without being refunded the espresso you were unable to enjoy. Honesty could make the affair somewhat more palatable, but be also prepared to have insult added to injury: only a misanthrope would not appreciate the 'policy', which is intended to bring people together. What a shame this benevolent masterstroke of social engineering isn't extended to include all customers, all their devices, all the time, but must coincide so precisely with the...
   Read moreA truly lovely experience!
They were kind enough to accept our request for a reservation, and although it wasn't necessary, they still made sure to hold a table for us. All the staff were super lovely and immediately made the cozy space seem already more warm and welcoming.
The food was a real treat and the coffee was really good too. Only critique would be that I wish both plates were brought to the table at the same time instead of one after the other.
Loved the decor of the space. Really simple and inviting. It's a no laptop space, which makes it easier to settle in and relax in the soft, easy-going atmosphere.
Overall great experience and hope to be...
