The "Feel Good Café" is just what is says - provided you like calm, quiet places - which we do.
It's usually managed and operated by one lovely lady who is always very polite and helpful (but be prepared to wait a little if there are a few customers being served). The delicious food is hand prepared there-and-then, as you order, not pre-made and stored in the fridge.
The only pre-made foods are wonderful cakes and very delicious soup of the day. I had the vegetable and bean soup (April 2023) with rustic bread and loved it. See the Menu photo with this review.
The inside of the cafe has well spaced chunky wooden tables of different sizes. Some can seat up to 8. The whole cafe seats about 30, maybe.
It's a quiet café, with no background music which is what we like and it's a good place to watch passers-by who are going to Sainsburys or the West Wickham High Street. Also a great place to take a friend and have a long chat over cake, scones, tea or coffee.
Been here a few times and always...
Read moreThe Feel Good Cafe was a lifesaver during a challenging time. Despite the Christmas rush, they accommodated our last-minute booking for my Dad's wake. The homemade vegan cakes, snacks and coffee, courtesy of the owner's wife, added a personal touch and accommodated our dietary preferences.
The cafe's warm and relaxed atmosphere provided a comforting space for family and friends to reminisce about Dad. The owner's understanding and caring nature made the experience even more meaningful. The Feel Good Cafe surpassed our expectations, offering not just a venue and value for money, but a compassionate and supportive environment during a difficult time. Thank...

Also, menu description of the vegan salad my daughter had specified 'with bread'...but no bread materialised, we had to ask for it. Food was very nice, and both male staff members very polite and apologetic. But they both seemed inexperienced and unable to cope with too many customers at once. A shame as your cafe is normally very pleasant and does...
