Burgers and Fries Done Right in the Heart of London I had the pleasure of visiting Five Guys Piccadilly Circus during my trip to London and it was a memorable experience. This bustling burger joint, located in the heart of the city, offers delicious, customizable burgers and fries that are perfect for a quick meal or a satisfying feast. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by the lively atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of freshly-cooked burgers. The decor was casual yet inviting, with a combination of red and white checkerboard patterns and simple wooden furniture. The walls were adorned with various accolades, testimonials, and articles that showcase the brand's success. The ordering process at Five Guys is straightforward and efficient. The menu is limited, which I found to be refreshing as it allows the restaurant to focus on perfecting their burgers and fries. There's a choice of burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and the famous Five Guys fries. One can customize their burgers with a plethora of toppings, from lettuce and tomatoes to grilled onions and jalapeños, all at no extra charge. The only downside to our visit was the noise level, which is expected in such a busy location. It may not be the ideal spot for an intimate conversation, but it's perfect for a quick, delicious meal.

The fries at this Five Guys location are amazing! Always hot and crispy. I had their spicy fries yesterday, covered in a mildly spicy paprika like seasoning mix. They were even better than the original fries! Not too spicy, just very tasty. This location is very clean despite being right off Piccadilly Circus and very busy. The only downside is the music is always TOO LOUD! Uncomfortably loud!! We used to live just right around the corner from here (2018-2020), and would visit often. The music has always been too loud. If not for the loud music, I would give it five stars. *edit* I am currently back in London (March 2024) and once again visited Five Guys Piccadilly. I’m glad to say the food is just as good as before and the music is now at a perfect level. Upped my rating to 5. 😎

Extremely Disappointed and Outraged by the Disrespect I Witnessed – DO BETTER, FIVE GUYS PICCADILLY CIRCUS.

I usually don’t take the time to write long reviews, but what I witnessed at this Five Guys location on 23rd April 2025, around 5 PM in the evening, was so disgraceful and disturbing that I feel compelled to speak up.

While I was visiting the store, a delivery driver came in to pick up an order. The driver politely asked the staff for the complimentary peanuts — something the customer had specifically requested. It was a simple and respectful request made on behalf of someone who had placed a paid order. The driver was not rude or confrontational in any way. He was just doing his job and trying to satisfy the customer.

What happened next was absolutely unacceptable.

One of the staff members — an Asian male — responded in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. He belittled the driver, spoke down to him, and made him feel unwelcome in front of customers. Instead of addressing the situation with professionalism, he chose to insult someone who was just trying to do their job.

To make matters worse, a black male security guard physically pushed the driver out of the store. The driver didn’t raise his voice or cause any disruption, yet he was forcibly removed like he was a threat. It was completely uncalled for, aggressive, and deeply humiliating. I watched this unfold in disbelief.

This is not how anyone should be treated — especially someone who is working hard in a demanding job like food delivery.

What I saw on 23rd April wasn’t just poor customer service — it was bullying, disrespect, and a total lack of human compassion. I’ve never seen a delivery driver — or any worker — treated with such open contempt. It left a really bad taste in my mouth and ruined the entire experience for me.

Five Guys, you need to take a hard look at your staff and how they’re trained. There needs to be accountability for this kind of behavior. That delivery driver deserved respect, not humiliation. Your staff should know how to treat people with basic decency, especially those helping to keep your business running. This was not just rude — it was shameful.

To anyone thinking of visiting this branch — be aware. If this is how they treat working-class individuals trying to earn a living, it’s a reflection of a toxic culture that shouldn’t be tolerated anywhere. I hope this review reaches management and something is done about it — because what I saw was...

I recently had an incredible experience at Five Guys that I just had to share. I visited the restaurant with the intention of enjoying a delicious meal, but little did I know that I was about to face a personal crisis. It was during this time that Manager (I think his name is Thomas), as I later discovered, showed me immense kindness and understanding.

As I stood at the counter, ready to pay for my meal, my phone rang, and it was my bank delivering some shocking news. I was devastated to learn that I had fallen victim to a fraud crime, resulting in all the funds being cleared out of my account. The weight of the situation hit me hard, and I was overwhelmed with the realization that I had lost thousands of pounds. It was at this very moment that Manager Thomas noticed the distress on my face. Without hesitation, he approached me with genuine concern and compassion. He inquired if everything was alright and, after hearing my story, offered to cover the cost of my meal. I was taken aback by his generosity and felt a tremendous sense of relief in that difficult moment.

I cannot express how grateful I am to Manager for his exceptional service and support. His act of kindness during such a challenging time meant the world to me. It's people like Thomas who go above and beyond their duties that truly make a difference and restore faith in humanity.

Five Guys has always been a favourite spot for me, but this experience has solidified my loyalty. The food at Five Guys is undeniably fantastic, but it's the exceptional staff, exemplified by Manager Thomas, that sets this place apart. The level of care and empathy he demonstrated has left a lasting impression on me, and I will continue to support Five Guys with enthusiasm. To Manager Thomas and the entire team at Five Guys, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your outstanding service has touched me deeply, and I am truly grateful for your kindness. You've earned a lifelong customer in me, and I will eagerly recommend Five Guys to all my friends and family. Five stars aren't enough to capture the exceptional experience I had, but it's the highest rating I can give.

Keep up the incredible work, and thank you once again, to the manager...

Deeply Hurt and Disrespected – Absolutely Disgraceful Behavior by Staff at Five Guys Piccadilly Circus (23rd April 2025, Around 5 PM)

I’m writing this review not just as a customer, but as a hardworking delivery driver who was humiliated and disrespected by the staff at this Five Guys location.

On 23rd April 2025, around 5 PM, I arrived at Five Guys Piccadilly Circus to collect an order for a customer. The customer had specifically requested the complimentary peanuts that are usually available in-store, so I simply asked the staff if I could include them with the delivery. I was calm, polite, and respectful — just trying to do my job the right way.

To my shock, one of the staff members — an Asian men — responded with open hostility. Instead of replying professionally, he started insulting me, treating me like I was asking for something outrageous. His tone was condescending and disrespectful, as if I didn’t deserve to be in the store at all. I was just representing the customer — and for that, I was spoken to like I was worthless.

What made things even worse was what happened next. A black male security guard came over and physically pushed me out of the store. I wasn’t aggressive. I wasn’t causing any disturbance. I was just standing there trying to do my job. But I was shoved out in front of everyone, humiliated and treated like I was a threat for no reason whatsoever.

I’ve been doing deliveries for a long time, and I’ve never experienced something this degrading. I work hard. I treat everyone with respect. And in return, I was treated like garbage by people who clearly have no understanding of decency or professionalism.

Five Guys — this is unacceptable. If this is how you treat people who support your business by delivering your food to customers, then it says everything about the values you promote. This wasn’t just about a bag of peanuts — it was about respect, or the complete lack of it. The staff involved should be held accountable. No worker deserves to be treated the way I was treated.

To anyone reading this — if you care about human dignity and basic fairness, please think twice before supporting this location. What happened to me shouldn’t...
