I was at Franck Manci on 26 th September 2024 around 19:25 pm. I am a cancer patient. As it is close to my house, I needed to get in and dine because I was too much exhausted that day and I had to eat something. When I went in, no one took care of me or welcomed me. The young girl showed me to a guy who is slightly older than the other staff. He did not look at me, served the other customers. I was waiting at the till and people were looking at me in wonder. I felt like I was a beggar. After a while this man bothered to come and asked me what I wanted. I asked him why he kept me waiting so long and told him if there was no place for a single person, I would leave. There were plenty empty tables. Then he suddenly told me there was no place and I had left. I am thinking of suing the company and this guy as he intimidated, humiliated me in front of other customers. I am a teacher and a resident of Muswell Hil. I had never been humiliated like this before. He should be sacked, warned or I am ready to confront him with my solicitor. Who do you think you are? I could not go home as my blood pressure got high that night and the other pizza place staff helped me....

First time that I’d tried this much vaunted, sourdough pizza establishment and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. We started with the Burrata, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes and the garlic pizza bread with mozzarella. Both were very good portions, so much so that we feared upon finishing them, that we wouldn’t be able to eat our Pizzas! Both starters were delicious and the Burrata was of excellent quality for a chain restaurant. For the mains, I had a classic Margherita and my partner had the vegetarian special, which looked like it had been rolled through the garden there were that many toppings on it! The pizzas are a very good size and we could have happily shared one after the size of our starters. We also opted for the scotch bonnet dip which was absolutely delicious and the perfect accompaniment to dip the fluffy, sourdough crusts into. Finished off with the Tiramisu which rounded off the meal nicely. All in all a lovely meal and very reasonably priced. The service was friendly and attentive and the dining area and toilet facilities, spotlessly clean. We will certainly be returning to sample...

In my and my (grown-up) daughters opinion, for a chain of restaurants, this place makes good pizzas. When my daughter is in town, we always go to this chain. We like it a lot. They are much better than Pizza Express. However, this branch has been a letdown, twice. We ordered the pizza with Cantabrian anchovies, organic tomato, mozzarella, Kalamata black olives, capers, garlic & oregano, a Number 5.

The first time, I thought maybe the team weren't having the best day or someone called in sick. So tried them approx 1 year later. This time the base was overdone. The tomato base was lacking a punch (same issue as the year before).

They close at 10pm, we got there at 9pm. We asked to sit away from the door, was cold outside, 3 out of approx 40 tables were occupied. We were told we can't sit where we wanted. And were told to sit very close to the entrance/exit. As if they were expecting a big rush which never happens. So we felt the cold draught when the delivery drivers were coming in and out.

In future, I will stick to the other branches which have always been more consistent with the base, tomato base and...

I’ve been to six Franco Manca branches so far, and this was sadly the most disappointing. My friend found lots of raw garlic on his, which completely overpowered the rest of the flavours. He chose not to mention it to the staff, but it really shouldn't have left the kitchen like that. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated their welcoming attitude. However, something happened at the end of the meal that genuinely shocked me. One of the waiters pulled out a bin from a cupboard right next to our table to change the bin bag. It was already quite off-putting having a bin so close to where we were sitting. What really bothered me, though, was that he didn’t wash his hands afterwards. He changed the bin bag, then came straight over with the card machine so we could pay. No hand washing — just straight from the bin to handling a payment device. I found that unacceptable in a restaurant setting. I’ve always liked Franco Manca and usually recommend it to friends. But this visit left me with a very poor impression. I hope it was a one-off, but I’m not keen to return to this branch any time soon

I love Franco Manca and it was the first time I visited the Muswell Hill branch. We had plans to eat in but due to unavailability of parking we decided to order take away. I understand that it's Friday evening and it was relatively busy inside but I waited 10 minutes despite being the first in the queue to order my food. Then I waited another 20-25 minutes for my order and to be entirely honest I wouldn't have minded if they had not burnt my pizza. I'm attaching a photo of it as the crust and below the pizza was very badly burnt, and the quality overall was really bad. It definitely did not reflect the taste and quality I receive at your other branches like Westfield. If you look at the pizza it looks like something you'd receive at a takeaway pizza shop not at FM. Anyways, I was very disappointed but could not be bothered to go back and wait again so most of the pizza went to bin
