Friends — Restaurant in London

Came from a long journey so was looking for a fish n chip shop for a takeaway however my husband spotted this restaurant and as we were so tired preferred to eat in. A lovely small restaurant, wasn’t so busy inside but takeaway was busy. I love Fish n chips and always moan about portions being so small … Well.. not this restaurant the cod was bigger then the plate and chips were more than enough! Service was good.. there were lots of healthier options on the menu .. but if you want a lovely battered cod then do try this place …...

Excellent!! I am local ,only been once before 2 yrs ago...and it was good. This evening however...I have never had such a large fish before and so beautifully cooked- light crispy thin batter. Never write reviews , the fact I have here says all that needs to be said. More importantly, customer service 6 out of 5! The older gentleman who serviced me was wonderful, indeed all 3 staff were and again I apologise ,even if not needed, for my tiredness and below par customer service...

Was fine before, but now gone downhill rapidly. Prices have gone up, £3 for a large chips and the portion size has gone down, not sure why I bothered getting a large as a little more in size compared to normal. I went just after 12, so expected the chips to be fresh, and as once before the chips were rubbery and off-cuts, clearly re-fried last nights left overs, and they smelled fishy. Last time I go there as now been disappointed twice with the chips,...
