This place is such a gem. Hidden away from the busy hubbub of Sutton high street, you can find a really genuine Korean street food on the top floor of St Nicholas Centre. I love everything they do and how they do it. First, the menu is focused. My favourite is Korean hotdog. A food from my childhood back in Korea. They give you a number ofoptions so you will never get bored. I recommend the original with full sausage filling as a place to start. They also do fried chicken. Go for the hottest if you dare. My advice is the medium hot as this is a good balance. I haven't tried the tteokbokgi (rice cake in hot sauce) yet. That said, it's a good idea to complement this with kimbap. So you can enjoy both spicy and not-spicy. Sadly, they don't do Korean ramen. You will just have to buy instant ones from supermarkets in Sutton high street. Second, services. After ordering, they bring your food to a table dotted around the floor. So convenient. Unless there is a long queue you will get McDonalds speed. Third, eco-friendliness. No plastics forks in sight. All the containers are paper based. You get wood chopsticks and forks. Without this might have given a slightly lower score. Lastly, the price is really very reasonable and the portion sizes are on the big side. After bingeing on K-drama or K-pop, a trip to GoKo is a good way to taste Korean culture.

The food and service were amazing! I ordered the famous chicken, stardrop? hotdog and tteotbokki, which was very filling and around £20. Though slightly on the higher side, this place was worth every penny! The employees were also incredibly friendly, and one helped me come out of my comfort zone to try a mango drink instead of an ordinary pepsi - which was also delicious 😋 Atmosphere was also very good and private, as you can sit in these nice booths outside on the third floor Detail on the food: chicken was juicy and crunchy but also soft, salad below was fresh and a nice extra crunchy, chips were perfectly fried, tteotbokki was rich and spicy, corndog was the best I'd ever had (I've only had one before), with long cheese pulls, and soft insides yet crunchy outsides, mango drink had coconut jelly inside and was very refreshing 🤩

I recently visited GoKo Korean Fried Chicken and opted for the spicy Korean fried chicken with salad and rice. The chicken was incredibly crispy yet tender, and while the spice level (famous) was enjoyable, I’ll definitely try the extra spicy (devil) next time. The soft rice complemented the flavors perfectly. I also indulged in a mozzarella and sausage corn dog with sauces. The crispiness was just right, and the mozzarella was exceptionally delicious! Although the prices are on the higher side, the food was worth it. A lunchtime meal deal would be a fantastic addition to their menu! The service of the person serving me was great. She was very polite and was helpful with my understanding of the menu.
