Strolled in yesterday for a haircut and the service was great. I am deaf so I'm struggling to communicate with people cause of the masks and they were really understanding and unlike at hairdressers, didn't try to make conversation with me. The guy who cut my hair took a lot of care over getting it right and was careful around my hearing aids (cutting around the ears with the masks must be challenging enough without that). Didn't get the haircut I wanted but got the haircut I needed. Reason I say that is because during lockdown I decided to grow my hair out then needed it cut. This was the first time I used this barbers and I'm very pleased. I showed them a picture of what I wanted but they acknowledged that my hair texture is different to what the picture is. In the end it was used as a reference and then came out with a better look than what I thought I wanted. My usual go to is K1 Barbers but I think I found a cheaper, better option.
