Kokoro Sutton — Restaurant in London

I was a little scared to try the vegetarian options as usually the veg options in these kind of places are hot Garbo but here it’s SO GOOD. I only got to try their tofu katsu curry and it’s so delicious. The tofu is really nice, like really really nice it has a crunchy coating like chicken or pork katsu. My only gripe with the tofu was that it could have been a little firmer but that’s literally it, it was really good. The katsu curry sauce itself was so warm and hearty and filling, it also hit me with a wave of nostalgia which was nice 😩✋ the katsu was so hearty, savoury and comforting I can’t get over it. They do not slack on the curry either they add the perfect amount for the rice AND THE RICE OMG the rice is so good it has the perfect texture it’s just so tasty. The portion is really big which I didn’t expect. I was a little apprehensive to order tofu katsu as I went to a certain restaurant in Ireland and ordered the same thing and they just added boiled unseasoned tofu to the katsu sauce which was more like coconut curry and I was scarred for life but I was so happy when I saw how kokoro makes...

1/ I visited the Store at Sutton High Street on 25 July 2025 (Friday) at 7:00pm when the Store was very busy. Yet, the service in this Store was excellent. No customer had to wait for a long time before being served.

2/ Ayusha working in Sutton High Street always wear sweet smiles on her face, no matter how busy she is. It shows that she likes her job and respects the customers. I must give her excellent service a 5-Star Award!

3/ The food served at the Sutton High Street Kukuro is super delicious, no matter whether it is the deep fried meat with curry sauce, the beef brisket, sweet and sour pork or teriyaki chicken. All the food served here are tasty and not greasy at all. I must award the chef in this store “The 6-star Michelin Chef”. I have visited other Kokoru stores in England. The food in other stores can be extremely greasy and is never as tasty as those served in this Shop.

1: I am a regular customer of kokoro sutton since 2 years. I have eaten all of their foods. All of foods are really good and they followed proper safety about customers and food. One of my best there is sweet chilli and chicken katsu but i have tried most of there foods overall delicious and fresh foods.till now I didn’t get any food problem from there. I am also working in sutton so for my lunch i feel it is proper place for having lunch so i went there in regular basis. 2: Talking about staffs they are well managed and respectful.that nepalese manager is so humble and good in customer interaction . 3 : Environment at there: i have been there both busy and quiet time but I never wait long time for food. 4:price of foods: it’s little go up then before .
