Greekos Gyros Walthamstow — Restaurant in London

After placing two orders on Uber eats and hour before the closing time listed I had 6 drivers try to attempt to pick up my food which was listed as being prepared and then wrapped up and ready for collection but after calling the store I was told that the store was closed early and that it was due to “delivery drivers taking my food”

I find this hard to believe as if the store was closed early this wouldn’t be possible and I very much doubt that 2 different drivers from different orders would steal food that apparently hasn’t been made due to them being closed.

For future if your store is not open please list it as closed on delivery apps as you have wasted my time and the 6 drivers that came to the store looking to pick up my order that had said it was being prepared and wrapped up but actually...

I ordered a chicken gyro with extra halloumi and a tres leches cake. The chicken gyro arrived and it was ice cold which I couldn't believe as I live locally! Literally everything inside the wrap was so cold, almost like it was sitting in the fridge all day. The halloumi sitting in the wrap was also not cooked through.

It is a shame as I love gyro and it would have been nice to have a local go to.

The 2 stars are only for the tres leches cake because that was...

Food: not Greek but Turkish (Halal, 'ungreek receipes: no pork, golden syrup& mayo sauce, shakshuka...) to be precise, not that it means its wrong. Place is tiny, its a takeaway in front of a garage selling tyres, no suitable for a date. Food was okay, not bad, not sensational. Better than a basic kebab. But far from Greek. Yasar's in Black Horse...
