What a disappointment! If you could eat food reviews then you would be happy all the time. The food might be good/excellent in the café, but it really doesn't travel well. I ordered a small pizza-I'm an adult with a small appetite-the anchovies had obviously been left out to dry, I ordered additional peppers and two or three strips were put on top. the pizza base was good! But the real food killer was the tiramasiu.. I love this dessert, but what came-in a fancy glass container-was a travesty! It was dry, you could see where it was coming away from the glass jar like it was the one stuck at the back of the fridge and they decided to put it in my bag. AND the software only allows me to choose the more expensive option which meant I was in an absolute fury after couple of Tastelessmouthfuls. I can only think that this is a newish place and you have just started to deliveries. But you really need to get it right-Just imagine I'm sitting in your café and what you would serve up to me, then just put it in a bag and send it to me that is all I ask. Sorry to be so negative, but I really would like to order from you again. Other places where I've not been happy I just don't bother...

I’m not usually a leaver of reviews but I have to say what a pleasure it is to have a good Italian deli local to us. On my first visit the owners had just returned from holiday and didn’t have the items I was after, but when I stopped by a few days later they remembered me and showed me to the well stocked fridge.

My partner grew up with an abundance of Italian shops around, but has struggled in London to find the ingredients and produce she grew up with. This is a problem no more with The Italian Bakery around the corner. Everything is of the highest quality. In particular we have to stop ourselves taking home everything in the meat section!

When in Crate for drinks, consider buying soft drinks from here because the members of our party who weren’t having alcohol absolutely raved about the selection and made sure to take pictures of the bottles to hunt down the same on holiday in Italy.

After reading the reviews about the pizzas we can’t wait to try.

Edit: have tried the pizza. All the other reviews are accurate. It’s absolutely amazing. Also, cannot recommend the tiramisu enough. They’re kept in the fridge and they do a classic and pistachio version. Unreal and last about...

Jaw Droppingly Good GLUTEN FREE Pizza Why the capital letters? Because anyone that eats gluten free versions of the typically gluten-laden foods whilst out and about will know the taste of compromise in every bite. But this is not so at the Italian Bakery! The base is crispy and delicious and not remotely like cardboard as in many well known chains. Every element of the pizza is taste perfection - from the perfectly seasoned sauce to the gorgeous fresh toppings. My dad, a veteran of not-eating-out and certainly not eating adventurous food such as pizza (lol) loved his gf pizza and will return again. And that is praise indeed from my dad I can tell you. I simply can't live without this pizza in my life now. Obviously that sounds dramatic but if you have a serious number of restrictions in your diet perhaps you will understand! The only downside is that they have now ruined pizza for me from anywhere else as it just doesn't compare to theirs! Do yourself a favour and pay them a visit. You can thank...
