Smart Buns Walthamstow — Restaurant in London

Tried 5th time or so.Again nice sauces inside the burger but Patte is not a typical Smash patte,it is just like a quarter pounder beef hence low stars.Hungrycow and Simply Smashed Mile End does the best Smash patte.Owner must watch some youtube videos or facebook/insta reels on how Smash burger Patte is actually made.May be they can improve on patte then.Until then a normal beef quarter pounder burger look and taste there. Chicken fillet burger was nice and fresh though.Chilli cheese bites were undercooked. Again had it today and must say looked more like a quarter pounder ala first time than a Smash burger tbh.. Have to deduct 1 star here as last time I thought they got my message but again same quarter pounder style more than a Smash type so a bit disappointed again. Last time strips were better too.The only real plus is chilli cheese bites.They were really tasty and fresh. Definitely a better Smash burger than the last time ordered couple of weeks ago. Left 1 star on Ubereats last time as I was generally disappointed with the Smash burger as it looked pretty much like a normal quarter pounder than a Smash one..... But today they definitely listened to me and it was more like a recently Smashed latte with a bit more zing to it added on by GHERKINS and extra slice of cheese. One more SUGGESTION would be to improve the bun quality and make it softer.I like Sesame seed bun for smash burger but it is a bit stiff and not soft,tender and juicy so definitely a cue there for the betterment. Decent Chicken strips to go with it.....Cheesy bites exterior was a bit hard rather than juicy otherwise pretty standard there. Well,a bit more juice in beef patty and it will add another star to its already improved performance today...... Much happier than last...

Absolutely delicious! Tried the Tower Chicken Burger and the Fish Burger—both were spot on. The chicken burger was juicy, crispy, and full of flavour with just the right amount of spice and crunch. The fish burger was a pleasant surprise—perfectly cooked with a soft, flaky texture and a tasty, well-balanced sauce.

Everything tasted fresh and well-made, and the portions were generous. You can tell they put real care into their food. Definitely one of the better halal burger spots in Walthamstow. Highly recommend Smart Buns—will be coming...

The food taste good I usually have a big smart plus a quadruple Angus stacked burger meal, it is only £8.00 it tastes great. The service is swift and the staff I’ve met are attentive, friendly and polite. The atmosphere is super chill. No music, right outside a bus top so easy to get too. The restaurant is clean and modern. They have there certificates of approval on displays and a detailed visible menu, with an allergy board too.
