Greggs — Restaurant in London

My fav bakery. I really love the chicken bake which is nice a creamy and since my two local stores not coming up on just eat, I’ve been ordering from this store for about three months or so and their foods are good quality and they do not bump up the prices for online orders unlike many others.

Once, one sandwich was missing from my order and I didn’t claim it through just eat cause it was part of a meal and if I did, I would have to claim for the full meal. When I ordered again, I left a polite note asking them to double check the order caused a sandwich was missing from my last order and the person who was dealing with my order sent me an apology note and the missing sandwich so THANK YOU to the person...

I was really let down by my recent visit to Greggs. The service was slow and disorganised, even though the store wasn’t particularly busy. Staff seemed distracted and uninterested, and I didn’t feel welcomed at all.

When I finally got my order, the food was below the usual standard my sausage roll was lukewarm and soggy, and the pastry had lost its usual flakiness. I also ordered a coffee, which tasted burnt and was barely warm. It felt rushed and careless. I’ve had decent experiences at other Greggs locations in the past, but this visit really missed the mark. The service was slow, staff very rude. I was asking about meal deals it was just "No" no suggestion of what could be included in a meal deal. I decided to go with an omelette baguette, I had to wait yet it still came cold. When I asked for some ketchup politely I was ignored, not acknowledged, none of them looked my way.
