Greggs — Restaurant in London

Am I robot or a human? Ok very good question. I can remember the Greggs of old and this is not that . The whole thing about charging on food as made Greggs into a mess. no longer is the food hot or warm in the fact your microwave shall love you. Roehampton is small place with Greggs being the only bakery you would think they would pride themselves with care. The staff and shop before refurbishment was horrible and staff not caring what they eat in the morning when they think no one is watching. Today I can say that asking for burger rolls is a problem. Burnt and over cooked pasties are a norm. Trying reheating a over cooked pastie and feel the rubber burn. Not covering cakes to keep fresh should be logical sense. Hygiene from some of the staff is poor to say the least "greasy hair service". I nornally dont leave reviews, but I feel like Yoga ＆ Tabish deserve some props and recognition. Was in the store today and overheard them dealing with a situation. They were being extremly sweet and polite to the custoner they were dealing with. When I heard this man telling them to go back to wherever they from (he didnt look english either and im spanish myself), couldnt help but speak up. The customer and I got in a little heated argument… Meanwhile Yoga ＆ Tabish remain calm and the kindest, de escalating the situation and explaining discretly to me that the customer was dealing with some mental health issues and to let it go. I appreciate your kindness to that man and to everyone else in that store! You guys dealt with it exceptionally, showing empathy and a warm heart! To be fair greggs in general always sucks! If there is anything left on there heated counter selfs its always hard as nails and overbaked. Even there cakes look like they've been baked a year ago and gone stail. The biggest annoyance is why they think that its a wise choice to stock up on products that hardly sell yet not top up the products that do?
