So Kokodak has finally opened! It is a minimalist Korean Japanese open kitchen restaurant with a choice of bento boxes, sushi, Korean fried chicken rice and noodles bowls as well as numerous soups.
From the start you can see this is a simplified upmarket restaurant with attention to detail even with bezel edged take away chopsticks.
I tried the beef bulgogi bibimbap which is a Korean rice bowl that comes with a mix of vegetables beef and raw egg (although I asked for mine to be kindly well cooked which they accommodated gladly) and a very delicious sauce that I was told to mix very well and by god was it delicious. We're regulars almost since it opened, as we live nearby. The choice of half a dozen different beverages originally included in the lunchtime special has been reduced just to a bottle of still or sparkling water.
