Update: We decided to visit the pub again and really glad we did. The gammon steak and 8 oz. sirloin were superb. I would recommend these if you wish to try the classics. It wasn't busy at the time of our visit and staff gave us an overview of the Greene King brand. The place was clean and the ambience was relaxed. It was a pleasant experience, very many thanks to the team (huge credit to the chef for the fantastic meal). Previous review: Booked a table for 2, arrived only to be told kitchen was out of order which was fine as these things do happen, however, we received no notification that this was the case, otherwise, we wouldn't have made the journey. Interacted with 2 staff throughout, one was friendly and nice, one staff was a bit off with his customer-facing skills towards us. The decor is nice and I can only imagine the ambience when watching live sports on tele. I may visit again to give the place another chance to redeem itself and will definitely home in on customer-facing skills. I believe in second chances. In the meantime, 3 stars is fair.

The greyhound pub, Kensington’s Square BBQ chicken - thought it was a chicken leg at first - microwaved in a bowl with what looked like microwaved bacon covered in a tasteless cheese and BBQ sauce - microwaved plumb tomatoes half of which were mouldy- needless to say no crispy onions as described on the menu - to add insult to injury- no loo roll in the gents toilets! Which I definitely needed! Had to cut my stay short - worst food I have had in London - infact worst food I have had anywhere - treat the menu with a very big pinch of salt - and bring you own bog roll - gents toilets are disgusing by the way - good luck

Cheers! Beer served to perfection! As a Neapolitan passionate about beer and who loves it served ad hoc I could finish the review here and the pub would be elected among the few to return to and to which I will certainly return ... it is not enough. Beer is art and love ... and in this pub it bears Christian's signature. Unique, kind, nice person and a very trained professional in what he does. The food is also simply delicious. products of the highest quality and prepared with care and full of taste. In short ... to try absolutely. Optimal. Christian: "Abbracciati la croce: mi dovrai sopportare per un bel pò!"

Your bartender Adrian (name obtained by the female bartender also on duty) has appalling service standards. There is no hello, or anyform of greeting, instead walks away as he saw me enter. Unpleasantly taps away at the screen to process my order and then proceeds to make my drink, filling the pint glass with ice that overflowed. I asked if he could please reduce the amount. Which he did. He then filled it with lemonade and unpleasantly goes "there you go" with a dirty look on his face. I asked if he could please put a wedge of lemon in which he reluctantly then did. After sitting with my friend whom then came up to order and was served by a very pleasant lady; Adrian walked out the pub and gave me a dirty look again. In 17 years in hospitality, I can say confidently that this man is not suited to customer service. Additionally; I then visited your men's toilets here and have never come across such a disgusting state in a central London pub. The stench of urine makes it unbearable to breathe and there is faeces and urine all over the toilet seat. *I have sent a copy of this via your Greene King site also, as action needs to be taken before such behaviour and neglect damages a cosy pub and somewhere I have...

I frequent this place, especially with friends on Chelsea match days and this is the first time I have been really very disappointed with the way I was treated, spoken to by a bar man who surprisingly would not give me his name. I think it’s Rafael (the receipt shows he served me) but not sure.. Banged his hands on the counter whilst talking to a woman who is also a customer in front of a packed pub (Chelsea vs Tottenham) and threatened me to leave the pub all because he claims the chef cut the chicken slider into 8 pieces instead of giving me 8 chicken sliders whilst charging me for 8 chicken sliders. And this is an order which I made only a few days back when Chelsea played Manchester City!! I have videos and pictures to prove, that customer service in this pub is not a priority nor is the respect for a woman!! And neither is the revenue considering the amount we have spent on drinks and dinner! Is it because the pub cannot handle pressure or too...
