Grill & Spice London — Restaurant in London

I thought I’d try out their food since it’s near my house, they did state their dough is fresh and made on the day. I took my wife and daughter there for dinner. It was a big mistake.

Firstly the customer service is poor and hygiene is not good. The chair was oily so I had to move. An older man served me at the cash machine. I ordered my choice of pizza, wrap meal and spicy wings. I asked if I could get the spicy wings first, he handed me the box and no tray. So the three of us are eating out of a tiny box for starters.

The pizza gets served along with the wrap in a tray now. The pizza and the wrap literally has no taste to it. It felt like eating hard flour, I had to add 3 sachets of salt to compensate to make it edible. The sauce is not high quality either, horrible tasting mayonnaise. The chips don’t taste nice either.

I think the main issue here is they are cheap skates with regards to ingredients. Every ingredient taste like it’s the poorest and cheapest quality you can buy, put it all to gather and this is the result.

Summarise: it’s the worst pizza I have ever tasted in over 10 years and there are so many places to eat in Leyton, not sure I can ever come back here.

It was my first time entering to this shop but definitely not the last. Since you walk in you can see the cleanliness. And the staff are welcoming you with a warm smile ,especially the lady with the hijab . She was really helpful while I was confuse in choosing my meal. The food was so delicious and so fresh.
