Guide Dog Owners - Avoid this place unless you like being discriminated against.
Unfortunately the management at this restaurant are very happy to flout the law and act in a discriminatory manner towards disabled persons.
Having enjoyed a delivery meal recently I decided to book a table to take my parents for their birthday. I telephoned the restaurant to book, and politely advised I have a guide dog. I emphasised the word “guide”. The person on the phone stated that there’s no dogs allowed. I advised that they’d be in breach of the equalities act. He went and checked with his manager who agreed that no guide dogs allowed.
I reiterated that this would be a breach of the equalities act. He advised that his manager would call me back.
20 hours later the same person called me back and stated that they don’t accept guide dogs unless the person is on their own. This is a breach still of the equalities act! I advised him they are breaking the law and will be reported.
I have now booked to go to Dishoom which has better food and treat my guide dog and I with respect and compassion.
I won’t touch this restaurant with a barge pole now. If they’re willing to break this law, what other laws will they willingly flout?

I suppose getting seafood dishes from a landlocked country is not such a good idea. Well, one of the party of eight did. I have to say that the prawn curry was bland and the prawn was chewy. Not something you would expect from fresh food.
My salmon curry, another bad idea, was actually not bad but it felt like someone had taken frozen cubes of salmon and put them in a cashew nut curry. There was hardly any spiciness to any of the dishes which was quite disappointing.
Service was adequate and the restaurant was clean. However it did not have the vibe of someplace exotic. Someplace I was going to go to soon on another yoga adventure.
Luckily for me I had a great night thanks to everyone in the group.
Would I go again? Not unless they improve the food. Tell you what... I will review this again after I return from Nepal 😉😂 I m a fair man I want local businesses to succeed and...

My dad has memories of Nepalese cuisine from his childhood, and he was very impressed. The food had delicate flavours, and you could taste each and every spice that they had added to the meals. Even more importantly, the food was not oily like you might find in other places. Overall, the quality and flavours were wonderful. Especially recommend the momo cha and Kathmandu pork.
The service was brilliant! I was really impressed - the waiters took the time to explain and recommend dishes in detail and engaged in lots of friendly conversations with us.
It was a lovely dining experience - my dad said he felt special dining here. They took care of us in a way that he said felt like the old British dining experience. Will...
