I always look forward to going here when I can. When I do, its a treat. I have to avoid this place because it is breaking the bank, and emptying my pockets. Not that its overpriced, but more that I have to try everything that is available. When I do, ABP never lets you down.

I ordered the Shawarma Rama, which was delicious and flavourful. Succulent shredded lamb, soft potatoes, the pomegranate tabbouleh was tasty and complimented the lamb. The harissa and aioli was a special touch. Hearty and filling.

The dutch baby and fried chicken also very good. Soft Yorshire pudding, topped with tender, crispy, special recipie chicken kicking all the big names out the park.

Dessert of Apple Blue T, soft french toast with a delicious taste of apple crumble. Melt in the mouth peanut butter, with the signature blue ice cream. Topped off an absolute culinary masterclass from ABP.

I also had the rasberry cream brioche/croissont which was honestly one of the best sweet pastries ive ever eaten. The taste of rasberry taking me back to the ice cream truck days, helpfully filled into the pastry with cream was an absolute delight.

The FRO-yo, I had to order two. The flavour combinations were out of this world good. I was told they are going to stop with winter coming, so wanted to make the most of them while still on the menu. I normally prefer fresh ice cream to fro-yo's. But again the taste was so so good, it beat any ice cream. Just sad they are no longer being served.

To finish I had the Apple Blue Latte, my regular when I come. Im not a big coffee/latte fan. But the taste of apple cumble is just irresistable.

Today I felt tired of food. You look around and every place is doing the same old overpriced smashed avo toast, or english brekkie. You get bored. ABP is special and unique. It rejuvinated my desire to eat, tantilised and titilated my tastebuds. An absolute treat to have in South London. You can see ABP love for food expressed in its menu. A priviledge for us that they are sharing that happiness with their customers.

All praises belong to almighty God for His blessings he has bestowed upon us. And all thanks belong to Him that he gave us the pleasure of enjoying the sustenance He has provided for us

Had the cruffin thingy with custard and raspberry and look at the airation. Light as anything.

Had the conrnflake icecream thingy which was nice too.

And English Breakfast Muffin. Really nice.

I hope they will keep adding more to their menu.

May Allah bless and protect your business and increase you in khair. May Allah...

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for brunch after an unsuccessful attempt to visit Milk café nearby and was so happy to see that the queue was much much shorter!

A friendly waitress came and took our size of table then gave us menu to have a look at the food which was a good use of time. I went with the Dutch baby and fried chicken while my friend went with the oats and sweet brunch. Also ordered a flat white for myself, beetroot juice and latte for my friend.

My fried chicken in a Yorkshire style pancake was great, I loved the sweet and savoury combo as it came with maple syrup on the side and the chicken was crispy and juicy. The egg went well with the chicken too. The oats and sweet brunch on the other hand were slightly disappointing. My friend thought the French toast was way too dry and the bread crust was also a little burnt so he avoided the sides. There was only the shortbread custard ice cream as a sauce to eat the French toast with which didn't really do the job of soaking the bread and softening it. The beetroot juice was supposed to have ginger in it too but it didn't have the ginger taste at all. Coffees overall were average, nothing outstanding here.

In terms of service, all the staff that served us were very friendly. But it literally took them 45 minutes to serve the food after the drinks came and we had to chase them because I don't think they realised that we had been waiting that long. It was very busy that day with customers coming in and out all the time but still if the waiting time for food was going to be long they should have told us when we were queuing. I wasn't sure if they had simply forgotten to take out our food to us because the food came straight after we chased. Noting that the waitress also took our order as soon as we sat down so it was an extremely long wait.

Vibes were good. Quite simple interior with wooden tables. We didn't like the music was so loud as it made it very hard to chat and listen properly. It was also kind of cold with air-conditioning on when it wasn't even that hot outside, especially on a rainy day.

I am still happy to come back to try other things on the menu but I was slightly put off by the food waiting time ngl. If I am ever around the area I might give it a try again but rn I am not too convinced, especially when not all the food items were that...

Visited today from birmingham for my sisters birthday. We were seated outside due to long queues which was fine as we were really excited to try the food. Unfortunately there were some issues with our waitress. ( lady with brown hair) She came over with a drink saying “golden milk” which my sister ordered so she started drinking it. She came over 5 minutes later and said “golden milk” again which I said I ordered the chai. She then said no the other drink is the chai. When me and my sister both said we are certain she said “golden milk” she denied it. The american waitress jumped in who was quick to make me a new chai which was fine. At the end of the brunch, I asked for the bill, where the same waitress said they don’t do print out bills, just a total cost displayed on the contactless machine. My sister was quick to pay her half. I saw the amount and thought it didn’t seem right so I asked for a breakdown. She said “it’s two brunches and two drinks.” It didn’t seem right so when I started checking the prices on the menu, she said we’ve charged you service charge and also for two hot waters. The two hot waters we ordered because we were sat outside in 9 degrees due to an 40 minute wait for indoor seating and it was freezing. We were shocked to find out they cost “4.80 and we have never been charged for hot water before.” I told the lady we weren’t keen to pay water charge and service charge. If the service charge is discretionary why was it added on without us knowing, as there is no written bill or even a breakdown on the Till. We found the company to be really sly, as when we asked for a breakdown, the lady wasn’t honest and didn’t mentioned the waters and service charge until I started looking at the menu prices. To be deceitful to customers is absolutely disgusting, and we felt really awkward as there was an atmosphere when we left and my sister felt upset. All we asked for is a written bill or breakdown yet the lady wasn’t able to do this until I did to start doing it myself on the menu, which was awkward. We just wanted to know what we were paying for. Hidden optional charges such as a service charge should be made known to customers. Please watch out and double check charges, as this company doesn’t necessary tell the truth.

We left the venue feeling upset which is ashame as we did...

I visited The Apple Blue with my best friend, and we had a mixed experience. Firstly, we had to wait over 30 minutes for a table. I understand the place is trendy and busy, but the wait was a little frustrating, especially when you’re excited to eat out. The food was decent overall. We tried the Egg Royale and the Slow Cooked Lamb. The Egg Royale was fantastic the salmon was fresh, and the egg was cooked perfectly. The lamb was also very tasty, especially when paired with the side of pitta bread I ordered it worked really well together. I also ordered a side of halloumi, which was nicely grilled and added a great touch to the meal. For drinks, I got a coffee and a matcha. Unfortunately, the iced matcha was watery and had a strange, almost fishy taste. I had chosen the oat milk matcha with vanilla syrup, and it was such a disappointment that I couldn’t enjoy it. I won’t be ordering matcha here again a fresh juice would have been a much better choice. The atmosphere is lovely cosy and comfortable, perfect for catching up with a friend. However, the waiting time and disappointing matcha affected our overall experience. If I return, I’ll likely stick to coffee or natural juices and avoid matcha. Overall, The Apple Blue is a nice spot with good vibes and tasty food, but some aspects, especially the drinks and table wait, could be improved.
