My friend wanted to get an iced coffee and when she ordered, the barista with orange hair laughed in her face and asked what type did she want… my friend replied - iced coffee… the barista proceeded to be rude condescendingly listing types of coffee… Then when we finally received something that tasted more like a coffee water, my friend dared to ask for two more ice cubes and a dash of milk… when she asked for ice, the other barista with long dark hair said that they are running low on ice, while shutting the door of the ice machine that seemed to be pretty full… when my friend asked for milk the same girl was incredibly rude and visibly annoyed and told my friend to help her self, showing her to a disorganized messy counter.

I know labor is tough in this economy, but this is just really frustrating to get this type of service… after reading a few other recent reviews, it sounds like I am not the only one with this aftertaste of an unpleasant experience… If you are proclaiming to have the best coffee in London, do better and do not hire staff who is incompetent to provide an experience that...

Always found it a bit intimidating to come round nottinghill because of how anxious I get round busy crowded places, but popping into Hagen was definitely the best idea!! Ordered a lovely oat flat white which was so creamy, texture was absolutely spot on. What made the visit worth while though was one of the kind employees, she always had the brightest smile on her face and chatting with her made my anxiety melt away during my visit and left me in a very bright mood the rest of my day. I’ve been coming to Hagen regularly and it’s honestly one of my favourite spots in London for coffee. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and there’s a really nice buzz about the place. Lisa, Mike, and Olly have looked after me on most of my visits—they’re genuinely friendly, know their stuff, and always go the extra mile to make you feel at home.
