Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy neither the food neither the service.i found it over priced for the taste. Had a take away of salmon and big box of salad and was charged £30,I dont mind paying the price for something that is worth it but this wasn’t the case. The salmon wasn’t that special neither the salad(green beans, broccoli) the only thing that tasted different was the rice and hummus combined together .The service was appalling I asked about which cake would they recommend and the blonde lady answered me that all cakes are nice-so I didn’t buy i was going to get few but due to the way they spoke to me I decided not too. I asked for a table and the tall tanned guy told me - there is the queue and pointed with his finger, well i had really high expectations and expected something tasty not just average. It was busy and i can understand the staff can be stressed but no need to be rude or unprofessional towards the customers . It’s not difficult to say it will be 30min waiting time for a table or give a recommendation for a cake. Many people just took pictures and didn’t order anything I found that bizarre as well already the place is quite small for people coming to take a pics to post in...

The reason why I give a three star is I have to admit the food was good but the service was really terrible and shocking! Even without the expectation of a restaurant owned by one of the famous chefs, I couldn't stand the service we received the other day! We went probably just after 12. It was a fancy little place and there were two empty seats but not together. The staff looked at us suggesting she couldn't help the two of us to sit down. We only ate there because the other diners swapped seats voluntarily. But this could be easily arranged by the staff. What was more incredible was when we asked about some hot food where the other diners were having and the written on the menu in front of us, we were abruptly interrupted and suggested that was only for breakfast! Happened again when my friend wanted a lemon meringue pie! They could have removed the menu from the table or just said in a nice way rather than made us feel like we were idiots or people randomly begging for food! The service really affected how the food tasted! Maybe the best is to get th recipe and try to...

Been told it was great, but honestly for the average person. AVOID, overpriced, nothing in their looks so good you want a slice it’s all fruit combos. I bought a blueberry lemon almond small cake as the other stuff were a bit too out there. And I spent a whopping £4.50 and went home to have it with a cup of tea, most of it had chunks of hard fruit in it and barely any cake. Such a waste of money and tasted so average. It makes me think the chef made his margins where most of the ingredients are fruit so it’s cheaper and he can make his profit charging stupid prices. I read another review on here “wanna be posh and fail” then go here. It’s cramped and tiny and smells a bit funny. Better off going to GAIL’s in notting hill, it’s posh and fancy but the cakes are actually NICE and normal you can get fancy creations but also good classics too....

One of my favourite spots in Notting Hill - I'm always coming back whenever I'm in London. Whether it's savoury food or sweet pastries, Ottolenghi always delivers. When it comes to food, everything I've tried so far was delicious, flavourful, and fresh. There's plenty of vegetarian options and various cakes/pastries, you can also purchase Ottolenghi's signature spice blends here - I bought the everything bagel seasoning. The staff were welcoming, assisting us with our choices in a low-key, yet kind and friendly mannner. I only wish there were a seating area other than the benches in front of the building. It's also a relatively small space, so it gets really crowded on weekends. A bit on the expensive side too.

Amazing experience! Stopped by just for a piece of cake and tea but couldn't stop there! The banana bread was just delicious and the dark chocolate rum piece was also a very good cake but I'm biased towards chocolate! We also tried one of the cookies that was also good but not at the same uau level has the booth pieces of cake. We decided not to wait for a space in the shared table but ended up staying a lot of time in the shop to be able to try more things and it was It was noticeable that the staff manages that table space pretty well and in a very organized way. The place is very clean and organized. The staff give out a very positive energy and is very attentive and available.
