The one star is not for the church it self but for the people who run it. How could i grade with one star the house of God. Unfortunately the people who run the church make things so "cheap" that you make you not to want to go to the church any more. Have you ever heard that the seats are reserved in the church? What is it? a posh restaurant or a club that only the VIP's can have access? I feel sorry for that sad blonde lady who runs the church who thought that it is polite during the service to insult me and speak to me in a very rude way because I sat down for 2 minutes (feeling dizzy) to one of the reserved seats. Is this the way that people treat you in the house of God; is that why we are going to the church; We go to the church to pray and be closer to the God, but when people treat you like that you feel disgusted. I wonder what she will answer to God when the time comes, because there, we all equally and there are no...
Read moreI would like to share my incredible experience photographing a wedding at this stunning Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bayswater, London.
This Cathedral is visually breathtaking. The intricate details and decorations are unmatched. The atmosphere inside is serene, peaceful, and welcoming. The lighting is magnificent, and the mosaics are simply stunning.
I had the most beautiful experience with the priest who conducted the wedding I photographed. I am deeply grateful to the church, the helpers, and the priest for making my experience as a wedding photographer genuinely memorable.
I will return to this beautiful place to pay my respects to such a magnificent Cathedral.
Upon seeing the pictures I took of the wedding, my daughter remarked that the exterior of this Greek Orthodox Cathedral reminded her of the beautiful Natural History Museum.
This Cathedral is truly a place of beauty and...
Read moreAttended Liturgy on a Sunday, would definitely recommend to avoid this Church if you are Christian Orthodox for a number of reasons. They have a chorus and you are feeling like being in a Catholic or Protestant place, it reminded me of Mr Bean's entrance song and not the usual and proper Byzantine psalms that you will see in an Orthodox Church. They have "reserved" seats which is clearly unacceptable, they are not for people who are in need, but they are for people that just arrive late and want to show up for 10 minutes. The place got full in the last 10 minutes of the liturgy which proves a lot. It looks like many free-masons attend as well. In the picture attached one can see the famous eye being next to our Holy Icons and Cross. Just go to another Orthodox Church brothers/sisters, not this one. I am not without sins, but I can tell the wrongfullness in this...
