A cosy place that felt like home.

Rice was under cooked where it was still hard in the middle of each grain and there was traces of soil on the lettuce leaves. You have to order sides for most of the food. We were missing side dishes on the second order, lucky we were full so we didn't ask for it.
We were given plastic chopsticks while a large group of senior citizens who came 20 minutes after we were settled down was served with metal chopsticks. Note: there wasn't seating for us as we were a group of 7+ and wanted to sit together for dinner.
Throughout the meal, the senior citizens was served, while we were ignored so we had to go to the till ourselves. I presume it was because the two waitresses spoke basic English so they were more confident in serving Korean customers.
The restroom was apart from the restaurant at the back and was just one unisex small cubicle. They were also missing self grills, the beauty of Korean restaurants.
-----------Update---------------
Came back during the day to see if the service had improved, and it did considerably.
Food was cooked well, and the host was very friendly. We were all given metal chopsticks and frequently asked if we wanted refills on our sides.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant...
Read moreFood: We ordered the chicken upon, seafood upon, beef rice, eel rice, fried chicken, kimchi omelette and seafood omelette. The taste was good, but the all the rice and noodle dishes seem to be quite similar in taste as they all have onions, beansprouts and carrots and sweet soya sauce with little variation in taste. The fried chicken was tasty, but the kimchi omelette could be improved to present the egg in a more prominent way.
Service: Food and drinks were served quickly, so that was appreciated. However, the waitresses didn't seem to wish to engage with customers. They didn't ask us if we need any more food or drinks, when we asked the waitress to help us take a photo, she refused as she said she was busy, but didn't wish to help us when she wasn't serving. We felt that the waitresses would benefit from having some customer service training.
Atmosphere: It's a small cafe with a nice cosy atmosphere. The decor is simple and calm.
Facilities: One important point to note is that the toilet, which is unisex, is located outside of the cafe building via a narrow corridor behind some screens. It would not he suitable for wheelchair users. We appreciated that perhaps due to the age of the building, it may be difficult to reconfigure the layout to improve...
Read more스캠!!!! Me and my partner were excited to travel to New Malden for new Korean food, and most of the places were closing at 4pm (on Saturday) so we came to this place as it was open, but everything we had was very disappointing and extremely overpriced! We have experience in Korean cuisine and been to many good places but this was just the worst. My partner ordered Dak Gomtang (chicken soup) for £15 and what he got was literally boiled chicken in boiled water with no flavour. This soup is meant to have a lot of garlic but I think they forgot the garlic and ginger… please avoid. My one was spicy chicken with rice but the sauce taste pre-made from supermarket with a LOT of salt and chilli, both of us experienced lot of dehydration. This place is not a authentic...
