This place is a banging little spot for fancy wines and small snacks. Maybe not the spot if you're two 30s guys on your own and everyone else is kinda good looking happy people. Oddly specific? Maybe. Glasses from £7. Olives? Complimentary. £12 corkage if you get from the store. Store is a shelf in the bar. One bar tender significantly superior to the other.

went with a few friends for a relaxed evening and had a great time. the bartenders were super friendly and accommodating. Definitely felt a bit pushy to get a table but once sat down it was lovely. would highly recommend going for a drink or two and just enjoying the atmosphere.

Excellent wine bar for walk-ins with perfect green olives and a fun selection of delicious wines, beers and spirits. They also serve small snacks and plates. In a lovely calm spot nestled between De Beauvoir Town and Cannonbury.

Let me preface this review by saving I’ve been a repeat client here for a while now. Typically, I’ve had a good time here until this weekend when the racist and exploitive business tactics caused me to leave in fury and vow never to give these guys a single penny of my money again.

I’m a big fan of a certain wine producer, which is quite hard to find. When I learned that Hector’s had a few bottles of this in on the weekend I went over to take a look and try the wine. As a repeat customer, I expect honesty at the very least, but when I asked about the bottle I was told ā€˜they don’t sell it and don’t have it’. LESS THAN TEN MINUTES AFTER I SAT DOWN AND GOT SOMETHING ELSE, A PERSON VISITING THE STORE FROM HONG KONG ASKED FOR THE SAME WINE - BUT FOR SOME REASON THEY WERE ABLE TO BUY IT? Are you being racist? Do you not value your existing customers with whom you have an existing relationship with? Did I not dress well enough or spend enough money previously at this place to impress you? I’m sorry if I didn’t realize this was Hermes and I needed to spend a certain quota in order to be offered a bottle of wine, despite visiting the store for glasses, takeaway bottles, and snacks over the last few months.

If you’re looking for natural wine and fair treatment, there are several other natural wine bars in the area. Please consider these alternatives...

Great wine but one of the servers must have decided he didnt like us and was clearly pretty annoyed by my group for some reason. Maybe we didn't look like typical wine enjoyers or something.

Also, you can buy wine from the back room but can only drink some of this wine by the bottle in the bar. I have no issue with that, but after asking about a few bottles and being told "those are only take home" I asked "ok which can you drink here" and got a derisive laugh and "how am I supposed to know what you like?"

Rather than me asking about a number of bottles and being told "not that one" before randomly guessing one I can drink, I suggest giving a selection next time so as not to waste both our time.

Anyway, the Jean Ginglinger Stein Changala 2020 that I did take home was great. I would recommend just buying and taking home for a...

I’m a regular customer to this bar. And on one particular day, one of a particular day we went with a couple of friends and asked for a few producers wine. The guy who served us ignored our requests, saying that he doesn’t understand my English. I tried to repeat the words and subsequently showed them a few pictures but they said they don’t have them in stock. Shockingly not long after we opened our bottle, the bottle I asked for magically appeared on the table next to us. We paid our bill and left, will never come back again to this bad service and cocky waiters who don’t even do their...
