Heston Fish Bar — Restaurant in London

Probably the best fish & chip shop in the area. Used to go here when I was younger and glad to say it's still as good as ever. One thing that really stood out for me was the exceptional service, customer care and quality. The lady serving the customer in front of me dished up 3 potions of chips and extras and as she was about to hand over the food she felt the wrapping and felt it was nor hot enough and asked the chef to cook up more chips. She took the chips to the back and promptly served up news potions and explained to the customer that she did not want the customer to go home and have cold food. Brilliant customer care and no wonder it's always busy. The sausage in batter and chips I got were excellent. Lovely light battered crispy sausage and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside traditional chips mmm can't wait to go back a get a large cod and chips with mushy peas. Really good potions and sensibly priced. Well done...

The food here is amazing, reasonably priced and hot. The people serving the food are also nice escpecially the lady who is normally there. I always go here whenever we have a family takeout because the food is delicious and quick to order. However sometimes the staff can be a bit rude. All i have to say is that heston fish bar your food is absolutely appalling. Your chips are drenched in oil not cooked properly and your fish is not even cod. it had a weird slimy texture to it which was sickening. Your food was a disgrace and i hope people don’t make a mistake and buy your fish and chips. Everything was full of grease did not taste fresh and for the price it was disgusting. 20 pound for a regular fish and chips and prawns that were also not cooked...
