Came here for live music he was good however he was competing against a group who bought their own speaker who were trying to over power the person singing. Very unprofessional on the pubs part you hire someone to perform you should not allow a group of others bring and play their own music. Management should have supported their performer tonight. Shame spoilt a good night.

I did not say I didn't like the live performance he was very good. What I felt was inappropriate, unprofessional and dame right rude is the way you treated him by allowing that loud music to over power his performance. Why are you paying someone to play and then allow that (I have to question if you know how to run a business!) Oh and let's set the record straight as I was out in your disgusting garden (not tidied from a baby shower oh and let's not mention the photos that were left up for over 2 hours after the event - no care or pride in your establishment) from before he started playing right the way through till the end, not 1 person came up from the staff and ask him, there was a blonde girl who showed him where to set up, didn't even move the folding tables for him that was left from the party! And that was it!! So your statement about him being asked is a lie!! Also no performer would agree to someone else playing music while they are performing can you see how stupid that reply actually was ! But guessing that I have caught you out to be liars probably not. Your in the hospitality business you will not last long acting...

So I traveled from Essex to suss it out. Can I just say "wow". The food was tasty, hot, fresh and colourful. Being a foodie myself, I noticed the slight tweaks on the classic Sunday roast that really completed the dish and allows me to see the effort the chef put in. For example, the heritage carrots (purple) and the cubed swede and the fact that the food wasn't cremated. Plus I had salmon instead of meat which was seasoned perfectly.
I then had the 'melting chocolate fondant' which just finished me off. Delicious.
The bar staff were fantastic too, (Karim and Lauren). They were welcoming, talkative, funny and really do seem to enjoy working there which is fantastic to see considering that hospitality is hard work.
What's really refreshing is that I saw the landlords treating everyone like family. It's great to see them be kind to their staff and customers.
The atmosphere was great, its family friendly, I saw a few old boys sitting on their own and I noticed that the friendly staff and other customers still spoke to them. There's a real sense of community spirit here.
I will definitely be back and am excited to see the place really shine.

Pub to go home at 10:30 pm and gave us drinks in disposable glasses and abused us And thirdly when we tried to record her coz she was drunk and abusing us one of her friend pushed me and took our phone Who does that?
