Hyderabad House — Restaurant in London

Very affordable Biryani and it tastes as good as Hyderabadi dum Biryani. However they should take down ‘Dine-In’ facility from their Google page as they tend to cater takeaways and deliveries only. There is a 4chair table and a dou table inside the shop but not for the purpose. I went after checking Google page where Dine in was an option but my order arrived in a pre packed take away aluminium container. I must thank and pay my gratitude to serving attendant Vishnu who provided me with a plastic catering plate and a plastic spoon. He was super kind and handed out dip of Raita when I asked for it. Top notch service with smile.

Be prepared not to find parking space in front of the restaurant which is paid , ultimately park in the rear of shops on back streets and take a 10 min walk...

They opened back in end of 2014 or early 2015. It used to be £2.50 for chicken dum biryani and chicken dum biryani was super tasty. I kept on visiting until 2017 and even though the price did increase, the taste & quality was there. Then after few years gap I happend to be there few weeks ago and got a chicken dum biryani, when asked if I needed "special" I said yes thinking it may be better quality than I used to taste (BTW Special didnt exist before). When I tried at home, it was no way near the taste & quality I remembered from 2015-2017.

I also realised that customer service was gone down too. May be it was just a bad day so I might go there again to try it once more but I have a feeling it wont...

Food Quality has really slipped since he lowered the prices to compete. The cuts of chicken he puts in his biriyani are super low quality, partially due to the price. Ask yourself, Realistically with inflation how does he manage to keep prices that low. Out of 3 pieces he gave in a biriyani. One was mysteriously gummy, greasy and dark, and at first i thought he had substituted it for lamb. Turns out its just pure fat. The rice was very flavourful however, maybe a tad too much clove. The other cuts had very little meat. But then again what can expect for the price. Do yourself a favour and try other hounslow biriyani restaurants. Pay the extra pound or two for a much, much...
