Today is our first time visiting Sangeetha and we were utterly disappointed with the food and experience. Everything that was served was from a large plastic box, which obviously means it was cooked in batches days back. While batch cooking is okay, they use frozen vegetables for everything, and heating reheating just spoils the food. Secondly, hyginie goes out of the window. Cooked food just thrown on top of worktops,...anyways, we are giving 1 star for other reasons like; 1)Service is very poor - we need to call them multiple times for taking the order
Food served was cold. We ordered three different Dosa and all served cold. Starter was also cold, I lost my patience and asked to take it back and make another hot one but they returned with same after Oven heat it become bit hard and lost the freshness.
We go to Veg restaurant to enjoy different chutneys and Sambar but they said white Chutney was over… I have shown my upset face to get small cup chutney from the kitchen.
Food taste was very Average
NOTE: I don’t generally write reviews but the main reason for my review is because when I discussed today experience with my friend and he said the same and I thought this should go in as a review so that it will help customers and the owner for an opportunity to correct, not that it will due to the legacy of their name and nostalgia people attach to Chennai/Sangeetha, while I still doubt if they are...
Read moreI want to share some feedback about the attitude of the cashier. I am a regular customer here during evenings, mornings, sometimes for regular dosa etc and the food tastes good. However, yesterday i.e. on Sunday October 27 2024, I had a bad experience w.r.t the attitude of the cashier. I want to bring this to the attention of the management so that they can mentor the cashier. So, I went for buffet breakfast, paid to the cashier and took the receipt. Then i asked him for a place to sit. He, at first allocated me a seat and later he says I have to wait as there are some people ahead of me - which is okay, I waited. After few minutes he himself allocated me a seat on sharing basis which was ok and I was getting into the queue to self serve the buffet and then he shouts from the counter asking me if I paid. I mean this is ridiculous, he was one who took my payment and then he allocated me the seat that I should share and then shouts loudly whether I paid or not. At this point I felt he was too loud and felt insulting because he was one who took my payment and allocated the seat to me on sharing table and then he asks me if I paid. For this reason I am reducing my earlier rating w.r.t service and atmosphere to 2
In the past I have been coming here and never seen such attitude. Again, I want to say the food is excellent and I am not complaining, I am just requesting the management to mentor the...
Read moreFirst thing that no one will like about the restaurant is, they don't accept card payment below £20. Come on guys whole country has card acceptance everywhere even for a single penny and you guys are so old school. Your food got to be more tasty, you are serving Indian pure vegetarian food, no one is interested to eat your boiled veggies on the name of mix veggies gravy... Add more taste to the food please. Your Chinese food (let me make a very clear point, it is indeed indo Chinese but tasteless, I had ordered Sezwan fried rice but the veggies in the rice was chopped off such a huge pieces that no one could differentiate between your chinese rice and some locally sold pulav which is worth of 20 Indian rupees at every corner of Indian cities!) Along with the taste in food, bring some authenticity as well to the food... Note to the cashier! Behave nicely with a smile with everyone and not just with native people of the country, you are running a restaurant and not a Lodge or Dhaba or Bhojanalay where rice plates are being served... I was extremely disappointed... I only like their serving staff's behavior especially the specs guy who welcome me today, well only few of those are good, and few of those really stare at you with such an agony that they will eat you alive while you are eating your food... Try to be professional rather be a...
