Hyderabad Paradise — Restaurant in London

I would have given zero star if i COuld. Very less quantity. DONT" BUY HERE

this is the third time I bought in East ham Hyderabad paradise within 2 months and experience was same all the time.

First time I bought 2 chicken briyani. Tastes ok but quantity is less compared to other briyani providers. 1 briyani would be enough for a lady but definitely not good enough for a guy. There was only one piece of chicken in both briyani. Its not that much spicy and good. We bought some starters along with that too which was again very less.

Since briyani was very less, we decided to cook rice at home and Second time i bought chicken curry for £4. The lady over there exactly put only 4 pieces of chicken and poured gravy. Since we were looking at our baby we didn't even notice. for 4 small size chicken pieces they charged £4. I felt funny and took 4 pieces from the gravy and measured its weight. My kitchen scale couldn't tell exact weight because it measures only which are above 100gram. which means, the chicken pieces which they put are lesser than 100 grams. In my opinion its not even worth £1. It was rainy day hence we couldn't go back to give that.

Today I went and told what happened with last time chicken curry. She told me to take lamb curry for £5 which also looks fresh and I decided to go with that. She filled in with 8 pieces of lamb this time. When she was filling it in the parcel I asked her how come she can give such a small quantity for £5. She told this is what they give to everyone.

Instead of arguing i decided to write a review since its happening every time and they just charge hell lot of money which won't be enough even for single person. attached the photos is the parcel which they gave lamb curry today. For easy understanding i measured the size of the bowl which is not even big enough of a palm of your one hand. I attached the cover which they gave for such a BIG parcel. £5 is complete waste.

I AM NEVER EVER BUYING IT HERE AND WILL MAKE SURE NONE OF MY HYDERABAD FRIENDS ARE BUYING HERE.

Ah such a great response... thanks.. I clearly asked the staff who served there. She told this express point is just a part of Hyderabad paradise only. Few items are being cooked there itself and its being served here. I will not delete the review.

if price & portion are different better they should have displayed what is the bowl size near the price itself, like small, medium or large. OR tell me if this Hyderabad Paradise Express point at 4 High St N, East Ham, London E6 1JD has nothing to do with Original Hyderabad paradise at 427 High St N, Manor Park, London E12 6TL I will delete the...

Having had the original Paradise biriyani from the motherland many times over, this here in East Ham certainly was nostalgic. The food, the taste and the quantity was amazing. The flavors and the seasoning was just right. What was even better was the quantity of the chicken itself. Most places skimp out on the chicken, and this one sure did not. I went in earlier in the day before the crowds showed up I guess, so the service was minimal. Who cares though - I was there for the food and it did not disappoint at all. The one downside to the food served were the condiments served alongside the biryani. The raita was almost like an afterthought - watery and bland, and so was the Mirchi ka salan with too much coconut and not enough Mirchi. Aside from that, they had a great selection of dishes and were very aptly priced. I even ordered takeout biryani alongside chilli chicken and they did not disappoint at all with the taste, quality of food and the quantity. I went out of my way to eat at this restaurant and I would do it again many times over. The best biriyani I've had so far in London compared to the ones in Oxford, Reading, Southhall, London City, and Slough. The Hyderabad Paradise biryani in East Ham will be new destination for biryani...

We just went last night and ordered a dam biryani and shami kebabs.

Then ever since the early hours this morning I've been visiting the loo due to an upset stomach or unless off course this could be the only other thing-food poisoning

This is not normal for me as I'm used to having spicy food and it would take a lot to for me to get an upset stomach

Funnily enough, we showed concern to the food quality but this got dismissed by the waiter who insisted the food is like this as its prepared by "dumm" and its the Hyderabad style of things. And also that he has worked at this place for 15 years.

That's funny because, I've eaten there twice before in the last 3 years and we never saw him then. And the restaurant signage has since changed to lahore grill which was not there before.

And just as I'm writing this, my friend who joined me, is also reporting tummy issues. So it's not just me now

And lastly, while we were there, we noticed that we were the only customers there for the entire duration we were there. I remember this place used to be packed with customers on a Saturday night and we had to wait to get a table once.
