Great place to eat proper british cafe food. English breakfast, jacket potatoes, fish and chips etc. Toilet available. Bar stool sitting for people on their own. Booth seating available if it's not reserved and regular tables. Friendly staff they have their regulars. They got my order wrong today salad instead of chips but where quick to rectify the issue.The omelette was raw last time so I asked that the egg be well done so this time they overcooked it and it was dry. It's a shame because their fish and chips at times have been the best have ever had. It wasn't greasy just right. I did not need the lemon wedge. Always really busy because they know how good it is. I have the best fry ups (English breakfasts) here & they are so reasonably priced too especially for the location (5 min walk from Liverpool St) Great Breakfast & Lunch menu available for eat in & Take aways, they even do a special of the day. Cannot recommend this place and the friendly staff enough, Every time Ive been in this area ill always go to this Cafe, i have done for 14 years now. Start on a observation/ interpretation, all new modern and shiny on the inside with a greesy spoon name, even got little booths (for the messy eaters?). But enough of such irrelevant ramblings and down to the food and service. Service was friendly and efficient and I enjoyed the food more that I should. Would I recommend?
